Please, pray for the Rochester Police officer who was shot in the line of duty overnight.🙏🏻

New York: A Rochester police officer was shot during a traffic stop early Friday morning, which led to the shooting suspect taking his own life following a brief manhunt.

Rochester Police Chief David Smith says that the suspect was spotted by the Drone unit in a pile of brush. Upon the drone shining a spotlight on him,he pulled out a handgun and shot and killed himself.

The officer is expected to make a full recovery.

NEW: ERO San Francisco arrested Dixon Arauz Cruz, 27, of Nicaragua, March 19, in South San Francisco. Cruz has been convicted of sex with a minor and evading a peace officer. He will remain in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings.
