Today, Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr. of the Pennsylvania State Police was laid to rest at St. Joseph Parish in Downingtown.

Corporal O’Connor, a 15-year veteran of the State Police, a loving husband and father, was killed in the line of duty on March 8, 2026, when a driver opened fire during a traffic stop in West Caln Township in Chester County.

We stand in solidarity with the Pennsylvania State Police and communities across the Commonwealth in mourning this tragic and senseless loss of life.
