LISTEN: CJNG boss Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known as “El Mencho,” is seen telling a police official to have his officers stand down — and the order is followed.

Before rising to infamy, he lived in the San Francisco Bay Area; in 1986, at just 19, he was arrested by San Francisco Police for stolen property and carrying a loaded gun.

In a major security operation this morning, Mexican forces killed him, dealing a significant blow to the cartel he once led.

NEW: ICE San Diego arrested David Bello Avilez, a criminal alien from Mexico. Bello was previously convicted for possession of a weapon, weapon offense, battery, and robbery. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.
