PUBLISHED: 18:00, 23 Sep 2019

British Muslims are launching their first ever pride festival at a time when the community is โ€˜under attack more than everโ€™. The festival hopes to celebrate what it means to be LGTBQI and Muslim and how they do โ€˜not have to chooseโ€™ between both identities. LGBTQI charity Imaan is putting on the event to mark the 20 years itโ€™s spent supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans Muslims.

Greek police have arrested ten undocumented Syrian migrants who were disguised as a Ukrainian volleyball team. The migrants were arrested at Athens airport on Sunday after police found that the Ukrainian passports they were carrying had been reported stolen or lost. The men were dressed in identical athletic uniforms, and carried identical sports bags as well as two volleyballs, police said. After questioning, police determined that the men were not a volleyball team. They detained them and sent them to an examining magistrate to face charges of trying to illegally exit the country using stolen or lost travel documents. The men were planning to travel to another European Union country, police said. They did not name the country. ๐Ÿคฃ #LMAO

Pvt. 1st Class Jarrett William Smith, 24, an infantry soldier stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, was charged with one count of distributing information related to explosives and weapons of mass destruction. Just as teen eco-warrior Greta Thunberg was about to make her big entrance at the UN Climate Summit in New York - an event she has campaigned tirelessly for - climate change denier Donald Trump cut in front of her, effectively stealing her moment. A cascade of emotions paraded across the 16-year-old Swedish activist's face as she watched the US president walk in front of her and speak to reporters at Monday's summit addressing an issue he believes is 'fake news'.

Donald Trump took aim at teenage environment activist Greta Thunberg following her fiery appearance at the United Nations Climate Summit on Monday. The Swedish 16-year-old broke down in tears while furiously scolding international delegates, repeatedly asking, 'How dare you?' Thunberg said: 'I shouldn't be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come to us for hope. How dare you. You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and yet all you can talk about is money. You are failing us.' In a sarcastic tweet late Monday, Trump mocked the schoolgirl, saying: 'She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!' Thunberg was seen at the UN headquarters Monday morning with an enraged expression on her face as Trump upstaged her entrance by walking in flanked by news reporters.
