The incident, captured on dashcam in Ocean Beach, California, shows a car approaching a junction at around 60mph when a Mini cuts it up. Moments later, a biker pulls up alongside it in a row of traffic and tries to kick the wing mirror but ends up losing his balance and falls off his motorcycle. The driver behind the biker filming the incident, said the Mini driver then chased the motorcyclist for a few blocks before he lost sight of them. 😂 #losers
Police blame 'New IRA' after mortar bomb 'designed to kill and harm' officers is spotted by passer-by on wall in Irish border town. The device was recovered in an Irish border town, where a senior officer has said it was intended to be fired into a police station in Strabane, County Tyrone, UK, on Saturday morning. Dozens of officers were searching for bomb-making material in Londonderry this morning, close to where journalist Lyra McKee was shot dead. Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Superintendent Gordon McCalmont said Saturday's discovery is not being linked with Brexit but that the incident, the seventh this year, is cause for concern. He warned: 'It is designed to kill and harm people.' Mr McCalmont added: 'For some reason it has failed to deploy. It could have gone anywhere.👮🏻‍♂️

How can the border agency not notice a migrant in a roof box?

If this had been filled with say, cigarettes, they'd have taking it apart!

A series of security failures at a US airbase in Britain allowed a man with a teddy bear strapped to his chest to drive around barriers and nearly get onto a heli-plane. An official USAF investigation into the incident has now revealed a catalog of blunders that forced security at all American airbases to be increased. The report laid bare how the mentally ill man gained entrance to the base by driving through a gap between a fence and the entrance barriers, and a roadblock then failed to stop the correct vehicle. When the unnamed man pulled up to the US airbase in Suffolk, he showed a British passport and asked to speak to the president, the report states. #facepalm

A growing homeless camp in front of Oakland Charter Academy in California is sparking outrage. Two years ago just two tents were pitched on Bond Street, steps away from the school's entrance. Now it's turned into a vagrant community. According to a January count, Oakland has an estimated 4,071 homeless people, a 47 percent hike over the past two years. In 2017 Oakland counted a total of 2,761 homeless people. Similar growing homeless camps are taking over the Home Depot in Oakland and Madison Square Park in Oakland's Chinatown.

BREAKING NEWS! 'People are shooting each other for food and water': Bahamas Hurricane Dorian death toll will be 'staggering' with THOUSANDS still missing as bodies pile up and militias are formed to stop looting. Up to 70,000 are in need of 'life-saving assistance'…
The Bahamian government has denied claims it is suppressing the Dorian death toll, as the latest official count of just 44 falls well below what residents have reported. Last week Prime Minister Hubert Minnis warned the loss of of life would be 'catastrophic and devastating.' Locals say the latest official figure does not match with the oppressive stench and sight of the dead. But health minister, Duane Sands, told the Miami Herald: 'I am actually a bit concerned that the focus has been for some people the body count. It is not the priority. 'The priority is find those people for their loved ones who are missing them; to take care, provide comfort to those people who are hurt, who are suffering, that's the priority. To put food in people's bellies, water in their throat.' Hundreds or even thousands of people were still missing, officials said, as rescue teams continued their grim retrievals.

Congress returns to Washington this week amid mounting pressure from Democrats and the public to enact new gun restrictions, but lawmakers from both parties say meaningful action hangs solely on President Trump. Since lawmakers were last in session Aug. 2, three mass shootings have killed 38 people and injured many more. The White House is expected to release gun policy proposals that Trump supports, possibly this week. But few gun safety advocates or Democrats are optimistic that the proposals will be as expansive as they want, Los Angeles Times reported.
A New York college student was arrested in Russia for allegedly possessing medical marijuana. Audrey Lorber, a student at Pace University in New York, was stopped at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg with 19.05 grams of cannabis, according to a news release from the city's court system published by the Moscow Times last week. She pleaded guilty to drug possession, a charge that carries a sentence of up to three years, according to the Times. “The defendant’s patent issued in the U.S. on marijuana use as part of a medical program doesn’t extend to Russian territory,” the news release said. The statement was posted on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram Sept. 2, but it's unclear when Lorber was taken into custody. Lorber is accused of violating Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, according to the @police_frequency in the Telegram.
