BREAKING NEWS! 'People are shooting each other for food and water': Bahamas Hurricane Dorian death toll will be 'staggering' with THOUSANDS still missing as bodies pile up and militias are formed to stop looting. Up to 70,000 are in need of 'life-saving assistance'โฆ
This is the tragic moment a Bahamian man returned home after spending six days in Hurricane Dorian relief shelters, only to find it gone. Bradley Forbes was heartbroken to find the structure, on the East End of Grand Bahama, completely destroyed by the deadly storm this week. His boat - which was tied between two trees - also vanished as a result of the hurricane which has caused a tremendous loss of life' in Abaco's main city of Marsh Harbor, Bahamas Health Minister Duane Sands said. He confirmed to @police_frequency in the Telegram that the death toll on Friday had risen to 43, but warned it could climb to the thousands. During a briefing with media, he said: 'I am sure that your reporters have seen uncollected bodies on the ground. I am sure there are many persons who know individuals who have personally lost loved ones. So where we end up with the death toll is likely to be significantly higher than where we are right now.' ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ
Houston man first to be indicted for bump stock possession since federal ban and could face 10 years in jail. A Texas man is the first person to be charged under a federal ban on bump stocks, devices that allow a semi-automatic firearm to fire rapidly like a machine gun, the Justice Department said. Ajay Dhingra, 43, of Houston, came on the radar of the U.S. Secret Service in August after he sent an email to the George W. Bush Foundation asking the former president to 'send one of your boys to come and murder me', according to court records. Prosecutors allege that Dhingra had previously been involuntarily committed to a psychiatric facility and was prohibited from owning firearms.
Rubber bullets have been fired at protesters surrounding a police station in Hong Kong after more than a thousand gathered to call for an end to police brutality. The demonstrators besieged the Mong Kok police station in the autonomous region for a second night as they demanded accountability over a police raid of the Prince Edward subway station on August 31. Police set up barriers at the entrance of the police station, and later fired tear gas and rubber bullets to ward off the crowd. Is this possible in the USA? No! Because the protesters would get leaden rain. ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ #HK

A Trump supporter who says he was beaten up for wearing a red โMake America Great Againโ hat outside a bar in Portland, Oregon, has slammed the city's โradicalโ political culture after a grand jury declined to indict his alleged assailants. Luke Lenzner slammed the decision, after a Multnomah County grand jury on Thursday said it would not prosecute Adebisi Okuneye, 23, (left) and Leopold Hauser, 22.(right) โI know who hit me, who assaulted me,โ Lenzner told The Oregonian. โIn any other city they would have been indicted.โ Okuneye and Hauser were arrested for their role in an August 24 incident at Growlerโs Taproom on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, where Lenzner claims he was attacked while enjoying a night out with his wife. But cops later painted a different picture, suggesting Lenzner had been wearing the hat to get a reaction, and had been involved in a confrontation at another bar earlier in the evening. ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ

(WARNING 21+) West Valley police released body cam videos of the moments right before a handcuffed DUI suspect was shot and killed by an officer inside West Valley City Hall. Police said on August 23rd officers responded to a call regarding a DUI at a business in the area of 2900 South Redwood Road. The caller reported that Chad Michael Breinholt, the boyfriend of a fellow employee, was intoxicated and causing problems at the place of business, officials said. When officers responded they said Breinholt had been driving intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to the West Valley City Police Department DUI processing room in the basement of city hall located at 3600 Constitution Blvd. Several officers were in or near the room when the routine fast-forwarded to deadly in a matter of seconds. Breinholt went to remove a shoe, apparently said he had a gun in it, and then an officer said the suspect had his gun. ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ #shooting
