This morning (Tuesday), we will say goodbye to Texas Highway Patrol Trooper Jerry Wayne Adamick Jr., as his family, friends and colleagues gather to pay their final respects and honor his life of service. Trooper Adamick was tragically killed in the line of duty on Sept. 15.

Several area roads will be closed along the route from the Northside Baptist Church on FM 980 to burial site in New Waverly off of Elmina Road. 

Services start at 10 AM.  The large funeral procession will leave the North Side Baptist Church on and move south to FM 247 then it will head toward FM 2821 around the Huntsville high School area and turn south on Highway 19 and south at Highway 75 on to Elmina Road, near New Waverly.

It was a great honor to speak before the United Nations. I believe the speech was very well received. It focused very much on energy and migration/immigration. I have been talking about this for a long period of time and this Forum, was the absolute best from the standpoint of making these two important statements. I hope everybody gets to watch it! The teleprompter was broken and the escalator came to a sudden hault as we were ridding up to the podium, but both of those events probably made the speech more interesting than it would have been otherwise. It is always an honor to speak at the United Nations, even if, their equipment is somewhat faulty. Make America Great Again!
