Russian NHL star is banned from international play for four years after testing positive for cocaine and after a video of him next to two lines of white powder emerged but he can still compete for the Washington Capitals. Evgeny Kuznetsov, 27, of the Washington Capitals had initially denied he used illegal drugs after the video surfaced on Twitter in May, and was even cleared by an investigation carried out by the Washington, D.C.,-based team and the National Hockey League. However, once confronted with the positive tests for cocaine taken by the International Ice Hockey Federation, Kuznetsov accepted his punishment and admitted he had let his fans both in mother Russia and the US down.
Marsha Edwards, 58, (middle top) is suspected of killing herself and her two children Erin Edwards, 20, and Chris Edwards, 24, (together bottom left) after their bodies were in their Atlanta home Wednesday evening, cops say. Marsha was divorced from the children's father Dr. Christopher Edwards, a prominent orthopedic surgeon in Atlanta. 👮🏻‍♂️
The Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged more than 400 points Friday after President Donald Trump issued a furious series of tweets about China and called the country an 'enemy.' The market dropped immediately after Trump said the U.S. would be 'better off' without its leading trading partner and demanded U.S. companies find an 'alternative' place from which to operate. Trump unloaded on China hours after it announced it was imposing tariffs on $75 billion of U.S. products. The president also made time to blasting Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell after he failed to send a clear signal about dropping interest rates.

Gary Ray Bowles, a serial killer who preyed on older gay men during an eight-month spree that left six dead, was executed by lethal injection Thursday at Florida State Prison. The sentence was carried out at 10:58pm, according to the office of Governor Ron DeSantis. Bowles, 57, was initially due to be executed at 6pm, but was delayed for nearly five hours as justices of the Supreme Court deliberated his final appeal. They rejected the last-minute plea around 10pm, after Bowles had eaten his final meal consisting of three cheeseburgers, fries and bacon. Bowles received the death penalty for the November 1994 murder of Walter Hinton in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. #losers #execution

This is the shocking moment a Tesla driver was filmed sleeping behind the wheel as his self-driving car traveled at high speeds. Clint Olivier captured the passed-out male as his car kept-up with other vehicles on the busy Interstate 5 in Los Angeles, California. Law states that people using Automated Driving Systems (ADS), including self-driving and autopilot features, 'must be ready to take back control at any time.'
Dashcam video from a Crockett Police Department, Texas, patrol unit shows the moment that a driver who had been running from law enforcement smashed into it in an effort to drive through a roadblock Wednesday. Trinity Police Chief Steven Jones said Thursday that they got a report of a felony assault by strangulation-family violence incident that had occurred in the town. The suspect, who was later identified as Leif Epperson Gonzales, 45, was allegedly armed. Once a Trinity police officer located the suspect’s vehicle, he started following it, Jones said. At that point, Gonzales allegedly stopped in the middle of the road and then tried to back into the TPD officer. Then, a high-speed chase started. The chase went from Trinity to Crockett in neighboring Houston County.
