BREAKING: DC gun permit process slashed to days under Trump federal task force.

The concealed carry permitting process and firearm registration process in the deep blue city have been slashed from months down to days via Trump's Making DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force, which was established via an executive order in March to revitalize the nation's capital.

The working group's work to clean up the city did not include changing local gun laws, but instead streamlines the city's already established process, so law-abiding residents can more easily navigate the firearms system.

Retired Marin County Sheriff Deputy gets support from former coworkers after suffering devastating spinal injury.

Kathy Ostrum beams when she talks about her 22 years as a sheriff’s deputy for the Marin County Sheriff’s Department, California.

"Best job I ever had," she says with a grin, "I couldn’t believe they were paying me to do it." So even now, even though she is retired, when she returned to the department to visit her old co-workers this week, the joy on her face was unmistakable.
