Please, pray for the Kentucky State Police trooper who was shot in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏻

Kentucky State Police is aware of a trooper-involved shooting incident that occurred on July 13, 2025, at 11:36 a.m. in Fayette County. The suspect shot a trooper and then fled the scene, ending up at the Richmond Road Baptist Church, at which time KSP and Lexington Police Dept.

KSP & LPD were able to secure the suspect. At this time, we can confirm that the trooper is receiving medical attention. There are multiple victims at the church, and EMS is on scene .  The suspect is deceased.  KSP will provide more information as it becomes available.

Heroism in its truest form.

Dick Eastland, camp director and co-owner of Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas, reportedly died while trying to save young campers during catastrophic flooding.

He didn’t hesitate. He acted. And in doing so, he gave his life so others could live.

Our hearts are with his family, the campers, and all those affected by this tragedy. He may not have been a first responder in the traditional sense, but on that day, he made the ultimate sacrifice to protect others. That’s what true heroism looks like.

Vice President JD Vance departed this morning after spending the day at Disneyland yesterday. Supporters gathered to welcome him back to John Wayne Airport prior to his departure.

Utah: This is probably the craziest “Firenado” I’ve ever seen. This off the Deer Creek Fire today, near La Sal, which saw very extreme fire behavior leading to crews pulling back to safety zones and further evacuations.

The fire was last mapped at 8,300 acres, but has since grown quite a bit. Thanks to the subscriber who shared this insane footage from Utah. Biggest “firewhirl” I’ve seen in a very long time.

Federal Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong ruled Friday in favor of plaintiffs including ACLU in a lawsuit that alleges in part that agents are making stops and sweeps based off skin color and language.
