A Russian man looking like a living corpse has been rescued from a bear den after he claims the animal broke his back and left him there for a month. The man, who identified himself only as Alexander, was discovered by hunting dogs in Russia's remote Tuva region, close to the border with Mongolia, local media says. Initially the hunters thought the body had been mummified by the dry air but were stunned to discover that the man was still alive. Employees at a Ford dealership in the San Francisco Bay Area were apparently concerned about a colleague who had just been fired because of his 'history with guns,' less than 10 minutes before he shot and killed two managers and then himself. Police received multiple 911 calls at about 6.03pm Tuesday evening after the shooter opened fire in the service department of the dealership in Morgan Hill, southeast of San Jose. Doug MacGlashan, who was hired by the dealership for the day to train employees on new software, told KRON-TV that a parts department representative who had been terminated that day apparently went outside, got two guns and returned to shoot the two employees. 👮🏻‍♂️

The U.S. military says two service members have been killed in Afghanistan. It did not offer any details surrounding the circumstances of their deaths. The statement says the killings occurred Wednesday, a day after U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made a quick visit to the Afghan capital of Kabul where he said Washington was hopeful of a peace deal before September 1. New Orleans police on Tuesday released footage from the cameras worn by officers during a shootout at an Uptown CVS pharmacy that left one officer and two robbery suspects wounded. Police had been called to the pharmacy after two men barged into the store on Prytania Street around 6 a.m. June 18. The footage shows the two suspects, 26-year-old Richard Sansbury and 28-year-old Alan Parson opening fire after getting cornered inside the store. One officer was shot in his shoulder during the gun battle. Parsons collapsed from his injuries not far from the scene and was taken into custody. Sansbury evaded police for a few hours but was eventually tracked down with the help of police #K9 s. Both suspects are from Indianapolis.
