Paul Marquez is facing a number of charges after police said he held the six men from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over an hour at a mobile home park in Utah. The tally of cocaine seized by federal officials from a ship at the Philadelphia port has now ballooned to more than 35,000lbs, making it the largest cocaine haul in the history of US Customs. Authorities said on Friday the street value of the drugs was $1.1billion. Laid end to end, the 15,000 bricks of cocaine would stretch about 2-and-a-half miles, said Casey Durst, director of field operations in the US Customs and Border Protection Baltimore field office. The investigation has now resulted in the arrests of six crew members, all of whom are due in federal court on Monday. None of the accused are US citizens.
