An ALK Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration LZ-MVK performing flight VBB-7205 from Pristina (Kosovo) to Basel/Mulhouse (Switzerland/France) with 121 people on board, was enroute at FL340 over South Tyrol about 30 minutes prior to landing in Basel when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing injuries to 10 passengers while deviating around an isolated active thunderstorm cell. Brian Issack Clyde, 22, has been fatally shot after exchanging gunfire with federal officers outside the Earle Cabell Federal Building in Dallas. No one else was injured. Dallas Morning News photographer Tom Fox said he saw the suspected shooter, wearing a black mask, parked at the corner of Jackson and Griffin streets. The man ran, stopped in the street to pick something up, and then opened fire, cracking the glass in the courthouse door. Video tweeted by KDFW shows a man in a black mask carrying a gun running from the sidewalk near the courthouse to a parking lot across the street. Police were seen tending to a man in a parking lot outside the courthouse. Authorities are shown at left, and inset, near the site of the #shooting.
