Believe it or not, but “The Decisive Moment” by Henri Cartier-Bresson is my first photo book. It has just arrived. “The Europeans” is coming soon, too.

Today’s catch.

I carry my small camera everywhere in case something interesting appears. Sometimes I wonder what people think when I start shooting everything around, but shots like this make the obsession worth it.

This is special. It's not only a shot I personally really like, but also a hint about what I'm preparing to reveal soon.

Soestduinen, the Netherlands

A photographic study of Soestduinen, one of the Netherlands’ rare inland dune landscapes, between Amersfoort and Utrecht. Wind-shaped sand and sparse vegetation of the quiet anomaly within an otherwise engineered country.

I launched my photography website! It’s not a portfolio of an accomplished professional, but a personal workshop put on display. For now, I follow curiosity rather than coherence. And of course, I make mistakes. But I am learning and trying to understand what I’m drawn to. My long-term goal is to carve out a style that feels mine, and I believe that my website will motivate me to improve.

There are a few more photos on my website than on Glass, because I was reviewing my archives and adding more pictures from the past. From now on, I will try to keep them in parity. I’ve updated my ongoing series on Glass, but on the website you can also see albums with shots grouped by genres.

A completely new addition is a standalone blog that I called Journal, where I am going to write about new series and probably some other photographic adventures. I’ve already published a few articles:

Photographing screens is absolutely cursed work. White-balance and expose the screen and its surroundings separately, remove all the dust particles and smudges, ensure unnecessary user interface elements don't show unexpectedly…

This is another shot of my newly launched website open on iPhone I made for a blog post:
