Man killed by oncoming train in Flatbush: NYPD

#Brooklyn: A man was fatally struck by a train at the Beverly Road station in #Flatbush on Monday, according to authorities. The victim, who was in his 40s, was hit by the oncoming northbound 2 train shortly after 2:30 p.m. on April 1 at the station located at Nostrand Avenue and Beverly Road.

The incident caused significant delays to 2 and 5 trains, with service suspended between President Street and Flatbush Avenue stations for several hours, according to the #MTA. Police declined to release the victim’s name, as the investigation is ongoing.
