President Donald Trump claimed a 'complete exoneration' in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, slamming it as 'an illegal takedown that failed' and adding that he hoped 'somebody is going to be looking at the other side.' 'After a long investigation, after so many people have been so badly hurt, after not looking at the other side where a lot of bad things happen, a lot of bad things happened for our country, it was just announced there was no collusion with Russia,' Trump said in West Palm Beach before he boarded Air Force One to return to Washington D.C. Trump called the investigation the 'most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.'

A joyous Donald Trump returned to the White House Sunday, hours after his campaign was cleared of allegations of Russia collusion, and told a crush of waiting reporters – twice – that 'America is the greatest place on earth.' 'I just want to tell you America is the greatest place on earth. The greatest place on earth,' the president said. He gave a thumbs' up as he walked off Marine One. A senior administration official told @police_frequency in the Telegram that the president is thrilled with the findings from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. 'I haven't seen him this happy in months. It's like election night again,' the person said. The president had already boasted that Mueller's 22-month Russia probe ended with a 'complete exoneration,' slamming the entire operation as 'an illegal takedown that failed' and saying he hopes 'somebody is going to be looking at the other side.'🕺

'The mountain has labored and brought forth a tiny dead mouse': Russian media reacts to Mueller report and blames the Democrats for trying to hurt the Trump campaign while demonizing Moscow.
Russian state media seized on President Donald Trump’s claim that the probe was an 'illegal takedown' and that he had been totally exonerated. One headline from TASS news agency read: 'Mueller’s report confirms no collusion between Moscow and Trump campaign.' While the Kremlin made clear it needed time before issuing an official comment, close Vladimir Putin ally Alexey Pushkov in a Twitter outpouring said: 'It was clear even BEFORE the Mueller report. From the very start it was biased, artificial, provocative, conspiratorial, designed-to-fuel-hatred towards the Trump campaign.' Trump and Putin are seen above in Helsinki last year. Robert Mueller is seen in the right inset. Hillary Clinton is seen in the left inset.
