Forensic officers are searching drains in West Kensington tonight (top) and recovered what appeared to be a knife (bottom), after the man in his late teens was found with stab wounds to his chest on Lanfrey Place shortly after 2pm. Emergency services including London's Air Ambulance arrived at the scene and took the boy to hospital but he died a short time later. One shop owner said there was 'so much blood' and that 'someone went to get a doctor from the surgery nearby and she was pumping his chest'. No arrests have yet been made after the stabbing close to West Kensington Underground station. It comes after a 37-year-old man who was stabbed in Soho early on Sunday morning was pronounced dead last night. It brings the total to five stabbing victims in London in the space of a week, after teenager Jodie Chesney, Spanish national David Martinez and 50-year-old Elize Stevens were knifed to death in the last seven days. The four-storey scaffolding construction crashed outside the hospital in Hampstead Heath, leaving a mass of tangled metal lying in the busy street, at around 3pm. Jay Heath 42, who saw the incident, said: 'I had just got off the bus and it sounded like a bomb. I heard a bang and then saw a lot of smoke. A little old lady then pushed me out of the way.' The incident comes after winds of 54mph were recorded at Northolt in Ealing, west London, earlier today. Tomorrow winds will pick up in eastern areas towards the afternoon, but the real strong gusts of over 60mph are yet to come over the weekend.

Fury as London mayor Sadiq Khan rolls his eyes and says 'I've done all I can' as he is grilled over his failure to tackle the city's knife crisis ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
The London mayor claimed he had done 'as much as I am allowed to do under the law' to tackle the scourge of knife crime by setting up a ยฃ45million youth fund and raising council taxes. He insisted cuts in funding from central government had left him hamstrung. 'I've raised council tax three years in a row, but also used the money from business rates to invest in policing and youth services,' he told Sky News. 'The investment we are putting in doesn't fill the massive hole left by the Government.' At this point Sky's Sarah-Jane Mee interrupted, saying: 'You keep shifting it onto central government.' Mr Khan then rolled his eyes in frustration, before the presenter asked why he wasn't 'taking personal responsibility' for the issue. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
