A California woman was arrested yesterday after she crashed her car through the window of a pizza shop was nearly four-times over the drink-driving limit, police say. During the busy lunchtime hours at Amerci Pizza and Pasta in Santa Clarita on Friday, a 40-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and plowed through the shop's window. A group of teenagers came to the rescue of an eight-year-old boy as he fell from a chairlift at a Vancouver ski resort in Canada. Video shows the eight-year-old dangling from the side of a chairlift on Grouse Mountain some 25-feet in the air, holding onto his father, after he slipped. One of the teenagers, 14-year-old James Macdonald, said he didn't think the boy could hold on for very long, but his quick-thinking saved the boy from serious injury.😱❄️☃️

More than 14 people have been killed when two tornadoes hit southern Alabama on Sunday. Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones confirmed at least 14 people were dead, and family members told WSFA 12 one of the fatalities in Beauregard, Alabama was an eight-year-old girl. 'I can say that at this time we have 14 confirmed fatalities. And again, the search continues. We still have some people that are reported missing,' Jones said. He didn't elaborate on the exact number of those missing. The sheriff said that the tornado had carved 'catastrophic' a path of destruction a quarter-mile wide and several miles long through the community about 60 miles east of Montgomery, near the Georgia border. 😱
