A California couple in their 30s and their two dogs were rescued Wednesday by a helicopter crew off the 4,700-foot Alamo Mountain, where they had been trapped by snow for two weeks. The new ice disk was spotted on the Cedar River, in Gladwin, Michigan on Monday by a man out on a walk. It's size is unknown.
