BREAKING! Texas, Happening Now -- here at the scene in North Fort Worth of one of the worse disasters I have ever seen in this area. Pray. Pray hard. 100+ of vehicles...
Portland Antifa wreaked havoc at a police union building on Wednesday night vandalizing the joint and attempting to break down the door, authorities said. The group targeted the offices of the Portland Police Association, forcing over a dozen city cops to be rerouted to the scene, according to authorities. Portland police warned the Antifa to back off or face possible arrest. At about 7:20 p.m., two hours after police first announced the protest, the group dispersed with no arrests made. The Antifa were not able to breach the building. Police said there were no reported injuries. A total of 15 cops responded to the building.
Never mentions the countless officers assaulted, shot at and injured prior to January 6. Remember the time they condemned this? Or any of the times police have been shot or assaulted nationwide prior to January 6? Neither do I.
UPDATE: A โ€œmass casualty incidentโ€ is unfolding on Interstate 35W just north of downtown Fort Worth, where dozens of vehicles collided and left drivers trapped, firefighters say. Mike Drivdahl with the Fort Worth Fire Department said firefighters are going car-to-car, looking for people in need of medical care. Preliminary details are unfolding and it is not yet known how many people have been hurt. Drivdahl said it will โ€œtake a lot of timeโ€ to clear the damage. โ€œIf you donโ€™t have to get out, please donโ€™t get out,โ€ Drivdahl said in a live phone interview on NBC 5. โ€œWe have a lot of emergency crews doing a lot of work. The last thing we need is people who donโ€™t need to be out getting into any type of accidents.โ€ Crews are dealing with slippery conditions and using anything they can โ€” sand, salt and kitty litter โ€” to melt the ice as they triage patients injured in the crash, Drivdahl said.

Miami -- Two men and a woman had lost track of days as they survived on a diet of coconuts, conchs and rats for more than a month after they were cast away on a deserted island between Florida and Cuba.

U.S. Coast Guard officials said the trio from Cuba told them their boat had capsized in rough waters and they were able to swim to Anguilla Cay, where they spent 33 days before they were spotted and rescued.

The uninhabited island of rocky ground and palm trees and shrubs is part of an atoll of the Bahamas that is much closer to Cuba and monitored by the U.S. Coast Guard for strandings of refugees trying to reach U.S. soil.

Lt. Riley Beecher, a Coast Guard pilot, said that while on a routine mission they saw on Monday what looked like flags waving in the usually brown and light green topography.

"I thought 'let's take a closer look.' I had never seen anything on that island." Lt. Beecher said. "Then I saw two people were frantically waving their hands trying to get us to come down."

The Coast Guard initially dropped some water and a radio to be able to communicate. Later on Monday, another crew flew back to bring more supplies. One of the pilots who flew on the second trip, Lt. Justin Dougherty, said the woman was low on blood sugar and was given packets to get her levels back to normal.

Los Angeles -- Lucasfilm says Gina Carano is no longer a part of "The Mandalorian" cast after many online called for her firing over a social media post that likened the experience of Jews during the Holocaust to the U.S. political climate. A spokesperson with the production company said in a statement on Wednesday that Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm with "no plans for her to be in the future." Carano fell under heavy criticism after she posted that "Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors.... even by children." The actor continued to say, "Because history is edited, most people today donโ€™t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?"

U.S. gun sales in January surged 60% to 4,137,480. This makes it the largest single month since figures started to be recorded in 1998. The rise is part of a trend. Gun sales in the United States rose 40% last year to 39,695,315. The figure also represents the high-water mark in gun sales since the current record-keeping system went into effect. Increases by state in January varied substantially, as has been the case for years. The Federal Bureau of Investigation tracks gun sales and publishes a list of how many are handled as part of its National Instant Criminal Background Check System. Each month, the figures are reported by state. Nearly everyone put through this system qualifies as a buyer. People who are excluded usually have criminal records. Of the more than 310 million checks that have been done since 1998, there have only been 1.5 million denials. Therefore, the data is the best proxy for U.S. gun sales available. (Read more.)
