⚠️ A flash freeze is on the way! The coldest air will start diving on Saturday south through the upper Midwest and Great Lakes. Places in central Wisconsin could see temperatures plummet to minus 25 degrees on Sunday morning, with high temperatures struggling to make it to zero. Overnight lows could be cold enough for car antifreeze to solidify. As temperatures fall some 25 to 30 degrees below seasonal averages, parts of the Upper Midwest will near the thresholds necessary to cancel, or in the case of 2021, virtualize classes. Schools in St. Paul, Minnesota, cancel classes if the 6 a.m. forecast for the following day is minus 25 or wind chills are forecast to drop to below 35.

Texas -- Fire devastates historic 111-year-old Mason County Courthouse. An arson suspect was in custody Friday after a massive fire devastated the iconic Mason County Courthouse, leaving little more standing than the building's stone outer walls. Overhead drone footage by the State Fire Marshal's Office, which joined the investigation Friday, showed a devastated interior, with few inner walls left standing and little left behind but rubble. Nicholas Jarret Miller was arrested in McLennan County after a vehicle chase. He is facing charges of theft of a vehicle, theft of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, breaking and entering and evading arrest, according to Mason County Judge Jerry Bearden and jail records. Arson charges are expected to be added to the list as the investigation continues, Bearden said Saturday morning.

Bloomingdale, Illinois -- At least one dead, multiple others injured following overnight mass shooting incident at Indian Lakes Hotel. Upon police arrival, multiple people were seen running from the building. The shooting occurred on the 5th floor. Police have released information:
•Calls came in at 2:35 am EST for guests hearing gunfire on 5th floor
•Upon arrival, police witness large crowd running from hotel
•SWAT team requested
•One person is found dead, others wounded inside hotel.
