Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot says on the conflict with the city's teacher's unions on school re-openings:

"This is a very difficult situation and we're in it still because of the incompetence of the previous administration."

Aren't teachers unions based on state government contract and then contractually negotiated per each district which is... her fault? It's even absurd that the CNN anchor is letting her get away with such a shameless buck passing.

Oblamo blamed Bush for his entire 8 years ... so don't look for blaming Trump to end anytime soon ... it's so easy and the left will lap it up.

Two social media influencers who managed to make the Hollywood sign read “Hollyboob” before being arrested on suspicion of trespassing Monday said they did so to challenge censorship on Instagram.

One of them, they said, lost millions of followers — and part of her livelihood — when her accounts were shuttered for nudity.

That their stunt also raised awareness for breast cancer and brought smiles to faces around the world, they said, were bonuses.

“It’s awesome,” said Julia Rose, 27, of L.A., whose Shag Mag company brands itself as a modern rival to Playboy. “All of it combined together has been really, really great.”

In an interview with The Times on Tuesday, Rose said she first conceptualized the prank last year after being warned about nudity on her personal and company Instagram accounts, which had about 6 million followers combined.

Rose said she knew she was “pushing the boundaries of censorship” on those accounts by featuring fellow influencers barely covering up, but she also felt Instagram and its parent company, Facebook, censored accounts unfairly, targeting influencers more than established brands such as Playboy.

Facebook and Instagram did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday.

Rose knew she couldn’t get to the Hollywood sign and alter it alone, so she looked “for someone wild enough to help,” she said, and landed on friend and fellow influencer Jack Tenney, 26, whose “adventure"-focused joogsquad channel on YouTube also touts millions of followers.

The pair said they attempted to get to the sign multiple times late last year but failed, in part because the two big “B” tarps they had created — to cover the iconic sign’s “W” and “D” — were too heavy.

But after both Rose’s personal and business Instagram accounts were disabled beginning in late December, they said they decided to try again — and this time with a better plan.

MINNEAPOLIS - A college student donated Nintendo Switches and games to Children’s Minnesota Hospital after making money from his GameStop stocks.

Children’s Minnesota received a special gift from Hunter Kahn, a video creator and student attending Cornell University, according to his Instagram profile.

Kahn posted to his Instagram account saying that after being "a beneficiary of the recent events on Wall Street," he felt it was important to pay his good fortune forward.

"I wanted my donations to be GameStop purchases since that is how this all started and there is no better group of people to receive a bunch of Switches than a bunch of kids going through a hard time," Kahn told the hospital.

"We're so grateful for this generous donation that will help bring joy to kids at our hospitals, especially during these challenging times. It's inspiring to see young people in our community choosing to give back and pay it forward," Jennifer Soderholm, president of Children's Minnesota Foundation, wrote in an emailed statement.

Gov. DeSantis calls out journalists defending big tech censorship of the Hunter Biden story:

“You're trying to tell me if there was hacked information that could damage me, you wouldn't print it?... You can whiz on my leg, but don’t tell me it’s raining."

How long will it be until the Democrats demand the resignation of Florida’s Gov. Desantis?

Meanwhile, in NYC -- BLM activists gathered in Manhattan tonight on the second day of massive snowstorm, for an emergency action to speak up against the incident in Rochester, where a 9-year-old child was pepper sprayed and detained by the police following a "family incident".

Tucker Carlson: The left is trying to downplay Big Tech censorship, bias. 'Tucker Carlson Tonight' host blasts NYU study claiming no evidence to support claims of conservative censorship. For several years now, we've been telling you that the biggest threat to Americans' basic freedoms is huge, publicly held corporations, particularly the tech monopolies. Unlike the federal government -- which, while stupid and dangerous, you theoretically have some control over -- these corporations aren't interested in what you think, and yet they have enormous control over your life.

Horrific details: ...the target of their investigation saw them coming, watching them through a doorbell camera and ambushing them by opening fire, sources say. Five FBI agents were hit, some multiple times. Two did not survive.

SUNRISE — The two FBI agents who lost their lives in a predawn confrontation in Sunrise on Tuesday morning specialized in taking down grown men who exploited children for pornography.

It was the deadliest day for the FBI since 9/11, and the first time two agents were gunned down in the line of duty in more than 30 years.

On Tuesday, the team of agents had gathered outside a first-floor unit at the Water Terrace Apartments, armed with a search warrant as part of their investigation. It’s the kind of enforcement action that takes place all the time, usually without incident, but then the gunfire began. (Read more.)

Greg Gutfeld on San Francisco teacher claiming Bernie Sanders in mittens at inauguration embodies 'White privilege'. What do you see when you see an older man in giant mittens? If you say, "Mike Tyson at a rematch," you'd be right. It’s the same, if you said, "Bernie Sanders at the inauguration." But if you say, "ah, that’s proof of white privilege," you're an attention-seeking teacher pushing a mind-cult.
A public school teacher, writing in an op-ed for the San Francisco Chronicle, says that Bernie’s mittens and puffy jacket on inauguration day embodied White, male, and class privilege. (She left out bald and near-sighted privilege.) But his apparel at that event proved systemic racism. So, how do you know when you're in a cult? When one claim addresses every aspect of life. If you can see white privilege anywhere, then you've got it on the brain.
