Pippy Long Stockings sidestepped discussing Reddit, GameStop and the recent stock market volatility.
Thousands of San Francisco residents are banning together to stop the city from renaming 44 schools that honor so-called “racist” historical leaders — including Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, critics told the Post. More than 7,200 people have signed an online petition slamming the school board’s controversial vote to scrap the names of former US presidents and war heroes with ties to racism or oppression. The goal is to drum up enough public criticism to convince board members not to strip away the names during an April 19 meeting — where they plan to decide how specifically to rename the schools, said Lope Yap Jr, vice president of San Francisco’s George Washington high school alumni association. Along with the petition, hundreds of school alumni have written letters to the school board bashing the choice to yank down the names of figures ranging from Revolutionary War hero Paul Revere to US Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).
WASHINGTON — D.C.’s Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser said Thursday that the nation’s Capitol would require even more ramped up security measures. The announcement comes as The White House and United States Capitol have already been fenced off following the January 6th protest — National Guard troops also remain in the area.

“Based on our conversations with our federal partners, there are still some potentially volatile events upcoming that will require extra security,” Bowser said in a statement.

“Fencing and the presence of troops will be a part of that. But we will not accept extra troops or permanent fencing as a long-term fixture in the District. When the time is right, the fencing around the White House and U.S. Capitol, just like the plywood we’ve seen on our businesses for too long, will be taken down. We look forward to working with Congresswoman Norton on not only ensuring continued public access to the Capitol.

A black Keystone XL worker’s rant blaming Joe Biden for eliminating his job through executive fiat is going viral.

In the monologue, the man says he won’t be able to pay for his vehicle or his home after his job was terminated “with the stroke of a pen.”

He then goes on to blame Americans for allowing Democrats to openly steal the election from President Donald Trump.

Last week, Biden passed an executive order revoking the permit for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, single-handedly eliminating over 11,000 jobs in the process.

Do ALL black lives matter to the Biden administration, or only certain black lives?

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested nine individuals after they took part in a street racing event held earlier this month.

On Saturday, January 9, 2021, undercover deputies were on scene when the street racing began in the parking lot of the Bass Pro Shops, located at 10501 Palm River Road in Tampa. Prior to the event, HCSO had received information it was happening and was taking a proactive approach to curb street racing as part of "Operation Burnout."

Once the street racing was underway, deputies observed several individuals doing burnouts, donuts, and driving recklessly through the parking lot. With the assistance of HCSO's Aviation Unit, marked patrol units moved into the parking lot. At this time, the crowds began to disperse from the scene. Nine men were arrested for Reckless Driving in connection to the street racing event.

Throughout the course of the operation, deputies, along with HCSO's Motor Unit, also conducted 139 traffic stops and issued 106 citations and 40 warnings.
The New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) is staging a protest in Zuccotti Park in New York City to “re-occupy Wall Street” on Jan. 31.

The group intends to protest Wall Street’s efforts to crack down on amateur investors who threaten to bring hedge fund firms to their knees by raising the price of so-called “meme” stocks, like GameStop and AMC, which have skyrocketed exponentially over the past few days. GameStop’s stock remained below $5 per share until recent days, when it soared by over 8,000 per cent compared to just a few months ago.

In response to the volatility of the stock, the chat app Discord censored the server of the users responsible for driving up prices, blaming it on “white supremacists.” On Thursday, the financial investment app Robinhood blocked purchases of GameStop and other stocks, essentially forcing users to sell their shares, driving down the value of the stocks.

The one-way trades allow hedge funds invested in shorting GameStop and other stocks to recuperate their losses in a not-so-free market.

The NYYRC intends to “re-occupy” Wall Street because members are “sick of Wall Street bailouts on the taxpayer dime, while the little guy gets stomped.” Gavin Wax, the organizer of the protest, spoke with Rebel News to explain the group’s intent.

"First the government drives millions of Americans into destitution and unemployment by shutting down the economy and their businesses. Then when the average Joe Schmo wants to make a few bucks trading on the market, he is shut down because Wall Street ended up losing to anons from Reddit. Where are the regulators? Nowhere,” said Wax.

“We have a two-tiered system in this country,” he added. “The elites and everybody else. It has been on full display with the shutdown of trading on select stocks.”

“The New York Young Republicans will try to do a small part in bringing attention to this issue by re-occupying Zuccotti park, the site of the original Occupy Wall Street protests, in order to send a message to Corporate America that we will no longer bail you out or run cover for you as you silence and bankrupt us," said Wax.
