Tucker Carlson Tonight: Big business, Big Tech and the Democrats are fully aligned and ready to crush dissent. Within hours of last week's riot at the U.S. Capitol, we denounced the violence in the clearest possible terms. We did that for one reason: We are totally opposed to political violence and have said so virtually every night for the past six months, since the riots that began on Memorial Day. We meant it then, we mean it now. Every person who broke the law this past Wednesday should be prosecuted. Vandalize a building, hurt a cop, go to jail. That's our position and always has been. This show is for law and order. Many of those currently in power are not, but believe instead in selective enforcement. The crackdown we've watched over the past five days amounts to collective punishment. People who had nothing to do with the violence in the U.S. Capitol are being punished for that violence in a way that is repugnant, immoral and anti-American.
National forecast. Some left over wet weather for the Southeast and Mid Atlantic, a little snow flurry action for the Northeast. The Northwest gets socked again with heavy rain along the coast and snow for the mountains. Quiet for the rest of the country. Good morning my friends.

OLD BETHPAGE, N.Y. — There is new information on a small plane crash on Long Island. There is now video showing the exact moment the aircraft came down on Sunday. The pilot underwent surgery and first responders described the harrowing moments after the crash. “We just saw a plane flying very low. We heard ‘boom, boom, boom.’ That’s it,” Old Bethpage barber Arthur Khaimov said. Khaimov ran outside his barber shop and looked up. Seconds later, there was an explosion. The pilot had radioed a distress report of engine problems as he tried to return to Republic Airport, a mile and a half away. The 57-year-old Bellmore man at the controls somehow survived.

On February 14, 2011, citizens from the U.S. state of Wisconsin rose up, eventually peaking at around 100,000 people, to protect the collective bargaining rights of union workers and against Governor Scott Walker.

"It's not every day that I get a text message from Tom Morello suggesting I get to Wisconsin as soon as possible. When it happens, I take it seriously. Tom and I have been involved in a number of schemes together, from small performances for student activists organizing to drive military recruiters off their campuses in 2006 to a four-mile, 10,000 person unpermitted march through Denver that blockaded the entrance of the Democratic National Convention. But this was a new one." (Read More.)
