Goodnight California!
Good morning California!
Harry S. Truman: Once a government is committed to silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens creating a country where everyone lives in fear.”
Man pictured carrying Pelosi's lectern during Capitol protest is arrested. Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida, was arrested Friday night is being held on a federal warrant, jail records show. Adam Johnson, 36, of Parrish, Florida was arrested Friday around 9 p.m. and is being held on a federal warrant, jail records from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office show.

For the record, I never once saw verified journalists make fun of any of the arrestees during the previous months of rioting. Why the change? Really shows you how one-sided this whole ordeal is.
Tattered but never broken. We appreciate our law enforcement heroes !!!!

MN — Crash on camera, Lowry tunnel EB and another car sliding and almost crashing.
The following contains editorial content written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

The war on free speech has just begun – but it seems as if it’s on only half of America (at least for now.)

WASHINGTON, DC- Buckle up patriots…on January 20, things are going to go very, very bad. Oh, not for everyone. But if you supported President Trump? Look out!

On November 3, over 74 million Americans cast their votes for President Donald Trump. Through what can only be described as one of two things…the greatest miracle since Moses parted the Red Sea…or perhaps some malfeasance, where Joe Biden, who wouldn’t even leave his home save a few cursory campaign appearances within 30 miles of his Wilmington, Delaware home, earned more votes than even the messiah of the Democrat party, Barack Obama.

Those 74 million Americans, having been presented repeatedly with evidence of “irregularities” in the 2020 election, and who saw numerous states violate the Constitution in changing election laws, while a gutless Supreme Court stood down and let it happen are angry.

For those of us who voted for President Trump, a man who finally was exposing the corruption and greediness of the Washington ruling class, we are pissed off. Are we pissed off enough to attack the center of our government, the United States Capitol? I would argue an overwhelming majority are not.

Last summer, while violent riots were taking place across our country, we were told time and time again that the violent anarchists represented a “small minority” of those protesting. We were told on Democratic state-run media that the protests were “largely peaceful” as we saw with our own eyes buildings burning in the background.

WASHINGTON DC — An Alabama man allegedly parked a pickup truck packed with 11 homemade bombs, an assault rifle and a handgun just two blocks form the United States Capitol Building, according to federal prosecutors. The revelation is one of the most unsettling details federal prosecutors have made public this week as they sift through what went down when pro-Trump protesters stormed the Capitol. Other people have been accused of taking guns and ammunition onto Capitol grounds. Lonnie Leroy Coffman, 70, of Falkville, Alabama, is accused of planting the pickup truck. A bomb squad found the arsenal during the scramble to secure the federal complex after it was overrun by pro-Trump protesters. Coffman has been arrested and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and carrying a pistol without a license. He told police that he had mason jars filled with “melted Styrofoam and gasoline.” Police also found cloth rags and lighters.

A woman who worked as a “caregiver” at a Massachusetts hospital has been fired after being present at protests the night before the Capitol siege after her daughter outed her on Twitter, according to reports. The mother appeared in a viral video after she was punched in the face Tuesday night in a confrontation with another woman. Helena Duke saw the video of her mother’s assault on Thursday morning after a cousin sent her the viral video. Helena identified not only her mother in the video, Theresa Duke, but also her aunt and uncle. Helena decided to then shame her mother by tweeting out “hi mom remember the time you told me I shouldn’t go to BLM protests bc they could get violent…this you?” Smith was reportedly arrested for the assault and according to unconfirmed social media reports, fired from her job as a result of the incident.

A New York Times reporter Andrew E. Kramer juggled fears engendered by the politicized rollout of the Sputnik V vaccine with the urge to gain protection from the deadly virus.

As if to outperform the perceived competition, when Pfizer and the German pharmaceutical company BioNTech reported trial results showing more than 91 percent efficacy for their candidate vaccine, the Kremlin-connected financial company backing Sputnik V asserted its trials showed 92 percent efficacy. When Moderna then reported 94.1 percent efficacy, the Russian company again claimed superiority, saying it achieved 95 percent.

Officials later conceded, when the late-stage trials were complete, that Sputnik V’s results showed an efficacy rate of 91.4 percent.

In the end, the politicized rollout only served to obscure the essentially good trial results — what appears to be a bona fide accomplishment for Russian scientists continuing a long and storied practice of vaccine development.

In the Soviet period, tamping down infectious diseases was a public health priority at home and exporting vaccines to the developing world an element of Cold War diplomacy.
