Seattle PD are monitoring this demonstration, now at Denny Way and Stewart Street. Group is blocking Virginia Street between 8th and 9th Avenue. Police have instructed the group to continue moving and clear the intersection.

San Diego D.A. Summer Stephan has sent L.A. D.A. George Gascon this scathing letter, saying his reforms are not "in the interest of justice", and she is rescinding her permission for Gascon to prosecute an accused L.A. cop killer's San Diego armed robbery charges. Mr. Gascon's office previously told Nelson would face at least 70 years even if all special charges were dropped, but Stephan says that claim is dishonest, because Nelson would be eligible for elder parole at age 50 after just 20 years.
