The city contract with a law firm to investigate potential Columbus police misconduct during protests and riots earlier this year is still ongoing, though if it's not already out of money, it's close. As of Sept. 30, when the city Department of Public Safety received its last invoice from BakerHostetler, the investigation had almost depleted the $550,000 allocated it by the Columbus City Council.
