America's law enforcement officers serve and protect their fellow citizens and they go above and beyond for the communities they love. When this boy's mom asked an officer to help her son learn how to ride a bike, this officer stepped up! Well done, Officer!

The collision occurred when the driver of a passenger van made an illegal U-turn directly in the path of the motorcyclist on Glendale Boulevard, just south of Reservoir Street. Tucker Carlson Tonight: Since the day Donald Trump was elected in 2016, we have been told that Russia is at the very top of the list of threats to America. Russia has penetrated our government. Russia threatens our democracy. Russia works tirelessly to subvert our economy and our way of life. Of course, such claims were a lie, and we're all aware of that now. Russia never had the power or the money to control our government, and there's no evidence they even tried. But that doesn't mean that there was no collusion. In fact, top leaders in American government and business have been compromised by a foreign power that seeks to undermine our country and our democratic system. It turns out that many of the very people who ranted so hysterically about Russia were doing precisely what they claimed to decry. They were working on behalf of our chief global rival, the government of China.

As the owners put it — when outdoor dining stops, the rent isn’t put on hold, employee payroll doesn’t stop but business drastically drops. Dave Foldes, the owner of Cronies Sports Bar and Grill, told FOX 11 he was keeping outdoor dining open to protect his staff’s financial health. He said the business can’t survive on just takeout, which he said only netted $400 last Tuesday. "We really have no choice, we’re barely getting by, we’re losing $5 to $10 grand a month in our busiest normal months," he said. "We’re following all the regulations that the rest of the state and country are following, we just need to survive and I need to make sure my staff survives because they can’t afford it." At Swork Coffee in Eagle Rock, they are calling their outdoor dining area a "peaceful protest," a reference to one of the two exceptions in Los Angeles County for public gatherings, which currently allows gatherings for places of worship and protests.

The city contract with a law firm to investigate potential Columbus police misconduct during protests and riots earlier this year is still ongoing, though if it's not already out of money, it's close. As of Sept. 30, when the city Department of Public Safety received its last invoice from BakerHostetler, the investigation had almost depleted the $550,000 allocated it by the Columbus City Council. About $7,700 remained in the appropriation, with three active cases yet to be completed at the time, said Glenn McEntyre, spokesman for the department. The investigation was announced by Mayor Andrew J. Ginther after what many city officials perceived to be excessive uses of force by officers during anti-police protestors in the wake of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis police custody in May. The contract was originally set at $50,000, then was expanded in July with the approval of the city council to $550,000. (Read more.)
