Yesterday in Los Angeles. People are protesting to open up their businesses in LA. Let that sink in. Not asking the gov for money. Asking the government to allow them to make their own money. Tyranny must be deposed.

The joke has always been that conservatives don’t riot or protest because we are busy with jobs. Well, Democrat shutdowns have taken that away, and now they get to see something new...

LOS ANGELES - A shocking video captures a deputy using a Taser on a man in Lennox on Monday morning. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a call of a crash near the intersection of 104th Street and Van Ness Avenue in the Lennox area of Los Angeles. According to deputies, a man "ran onto the roadway, blocking the path of the deputies' vehicle." Deputies then got out of their patrol vehicle and spoke with the man. LASD claims the man refused to follow the deputies' de-escalation orders and became hostile before one of the deputies used a Taser to stun the man. As deputies used force on the man, a second person approached the scene. LASD claims the second person ignored requests to back up from the scene. Deputies later placed the second man, is was related to the Tased man, into custody. (Read the Full Story.)

NYC: What’s wild to me is that there’s more of a police presence HERE to *prevent people from gathering to watch the Christmas tree being lit up in NYC* than at many of the riots this year (where buildings were looted/burned down and in some cases people died)
As California continues to struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti issued a citywide safer-at-home order.

"It's time to hunker down. It's time to cancel everything," Garcetti said during Wednesday evening's press conference.

"The Coronavirus is widespread in our community, and the latest data from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health shows more Angelenos are infected with COVID-19 than ever before," Garcetti's office later said in a statement.

The city's new safer-at-home order, which is officially in effect, was designed to mirror the county's ongoing safer-at-home order, with aligning restrictions and exemptions. The county's order went into effect earlier in the week.

Similar to the county's order, all Angelenos are asked to stay at home and avoid going out for nonessential trips and tasks. Both the city and the county's temporary orders ban all public and private gatherings of individuals from different households. Protests and outdoor faith-based services are exempt from the order.

Angelenos experiencing homelessness are exempt from the order to stay home.

The city's order comes just hours after Pasadena announced it would issue its own version of a safer-at-home order. Unlike the rest of LA County, Pasadena is allowing restaurants to offer outdoor dining as the city follows its own health regulations.
