Tucker Carlson Tonight: Our System Can’t Function This Way. On many levels, the system was rigged against one candidate, and in favor of another, and it was rigged in ways that were not hidden from view. We all saw it. The media openly colluded with the Democratic nominees. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris refused to explain what they would do if they were elected. That’s never happened in this country before, but the media allowed them to do it. At the same time, beginning in the spring, Democrats used our public health emergency for nakedly partisan ends.

The City of Pasadena is not planning to shut down restaurants like Los Angeles County, according to a city official. On Monday night, the Pasadena City Council unanimously agreed to not follow Los Angeles County's decision to suspend all in-person dining. The city's decision comes as Los Angeles County is suspending the dine-in option at restaurants, bars, breweries and wineries starting Wednesday, November 25 at 10 p.m. The county's shutdown will last three weeks. Restaurants, breweries, wineries and bars in Los Angeles County will still be able to offer take-out, drive-thru, and delivery services. As of Monday night, Los Angeles County is still under a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. for nonessential businesses. Minutes after Pasadena's decision, Long Beach city leaders plan to abide by the county's restaurant dine-in shut down, as well as the state's curfew for nonessential businesses.

Hong Kong activists Joshua Wong, Agnes Chow, and Ivan Lam face the prospect of jail after pleading guilty to charges relating to protests outside a police station last year. The trial was scheduled to begin on Monday, but after pleading guilty they were taken away ahead of a sentencing hearing on Wednesday next week, where they face a penalty of up to five years in prison. Wong said he expected to be jailed. Before leaving court, Wong shouted: “Everyone hang in there – add oil,” using a phrase of encouragement commonly heard at protests. Hong Kong breached bill of rights over police scrutiny, court rules. The trio of high-profile pro-democracy activists and former politicians were facing multiple charges over an unauthorised protest outside police headquarters in June last year, and inciting others to take part.
