Hollywood, California last nigth. This is not a scene from a movie - this is a Toyota Prius driver chased down by a truck full of BLM rioters and a second protest related car, they attacked the driver when they managed to stop him. The driver passed a Black Lives Matter protest blocking intersection traffic. “Prius drives through a protest in Hollywood, protestors then chase the vehicle down, smash the windows with a skateboard while attempting to pull the driver out of the car. The driver then speeds away and is pulled over by #LAPD and handcuffed” [Kenny Holmes]

Meanwhile in Seattle suburb... Tandem donuts continue. Police blaring sirens. They’re not able to get anywhere remotely close to the action because there are cars literally parked down Broad all the way to Denny. Moment that Mustang driver hit people as well as a car (pretty sure it’s a Nissan 350Z). Another person was just hit, this time by the driver of that red Campari.
Seconds after that person was hit, Camaro enters the ring. In the midst of the donut-spinning, the driver popped at least one rear tire. A close enough look and you can see some sparks. Aaaaand here comes Seattle PD. The white Camaro has a flat. Someone brought out a jack to swap the wheel out. And now a white truck is doing donuts.

Fighting between sworn enemies Armenia and Azerbaijan resumed earlier on Sunday, with each country blaming the other for starting hostilities over Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia said Azerbaijan’s forces shelled the breakaway region and inflicted civilian casualties, while Baku accused Armenian troops of hitting military and civilian targets as well. Meanwhile, Nagorno-Karabakh – a predominantly Armenian-populated region that fought a war of independence against Azerbaijan in the 1990s – has declared martial law and issued a total conscription call for all men older than 18.Russia's foreign ministry, a mediator in decades of conflict between majority Christian Armenia and mainly Muslim Azerbaijan, urged both sides to cease fire immediately and hold talks. The two countries have long been at odds over Nagorno-Karabakh, which broke away from Azerbaijan in a conflict that broke out as the Soviet Union collapsed.

Rochester police has announced its first ever female police chief after the city's entire command staff quit following protests over the cop killing of Daniel Prude. Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan, a former lieutenant with the Rochester Police Department, was appointed to the role of interim chief of the addled force Saturday morning. Mayor Lovely Warren announced her appointment in a press conference at City Hall where she said Herriott-Sullivan is the right person to mend fractured relations between the community and police department and bring about much-needed changes to law enforcement in the city. This came after Warren fired former chief Le'Ron Singletary last week after he and several senior members of the force stood down en masse following a backlash over Prude's death. Outrage erupted earlier this month when footage surfaced of black man Prude, who was suffering mental health issues, being suffocated by police officers in the streets of Rochester, New York, nearly six months ago.
