Tensions continued to boil over in Portland Friday night as a new 'Wall of Vets' joined the Wall of Moms and Wall of Dads to 'protect' BLM hyenas from the federal agents that have been deployed to the city under the president's orders. Protests entered their 58th night Friday, with about 4,000 gathering at the federal courthouse and Justice Center chanting 'feds go home' and 'black lives matter'. Chaos later erupted when demonstrators set off fireworks and federal agents hurled tear gas into the crowds. Federal law enforcement agents have been deployed to the city by President Trump to 'restore order' after almost two months of nightly protests - despite objections by city and state officials. On Friday a US judge denied an order sought by Oregon's top law enforcement officer to stop Trump's men arresting demonstrators in the city. This came as Trump continued on his law and order warned he was 'sending people to New York' after troops have already been drafted in to Portland, Chicago, Seattle and Albuquerque

⚠️ Tropical Storm Hanna upgraded to hurricane as it moves toward Texas
Louisville police arrested 76 protesters Friday during a march for Breonna Taylor. While the demonstration was mostly peaceful, those taken into custody were accused of charges including blocking traffic, disorderly conduct -- which included illegally setting up obstacles in the street -- and assault, including throwing water bottles at officers. Grand Master Jay, head of the “Not Fucking Around Coalition,” refers to the U.S. Constitution when talking about his Black armed militia group, which plans to march in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday. “I didn’t write it,” he says about one of America’s founding documents. “They wrote it. We just abide by it. So that’s our destination, because when it looks like the government is being indifferent to the people, the people have the right to form themselves – and arm themselves — to ask those questions.” The focus of the group’s march, he says, will be an attempt to seek justice for Breonna Taylor.

In a ruling Friday night, a federal judge blocked a new Seattle law prohibiting police from using pepper spray and other anti-riot weapons. The new law was set to take effect Sunday but U.S. District Judge James Robart granted a request by the federal government to block the measure. The Seattle City Council passed the new law unanimously last month, hoping to reduce violent clashes between police and protesters. But the U.S. Justice Department argued that the inability to use pepper spray, blast balls and other devices might actually lead to more police use of force, not less.In his ruling, Robart determined that the situation required further discussion between the city and the Justice Department, which years ago entered a settlement agreement regarding a police department overhaul because of past complaints about excessive force and biased policing.

Detectives are investigating whether a black Donald Trump supporter was shot and killed in Milwaukee over his politics. Bernell Trammell, 60, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting on Thursday at 12.30pm in the neighborhood where he was known for his signs that said 'Vote Trump 2020' and recited Bible versus. A memorial with flowers and candles has now been set up on the sidewalk as police look into what happened.
