150 rounds in 21 seconds shootout! Peel police have arrested two people in connection with the fatal shootings of a 17-year-old boy in Malton and a 28-year-old man in Mississauga from 2019. At a news conference on Tuesday morning, police released details into both investigations and a vehicle they say connects the two shootings. Safeer Ahmad, 19, of Mississauga and Jahvon Valdez, 21, of Brampton have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in relation to the deaths of Jonathan Davis and Giovanni Delahaye. Officers say their investigations are "far from over" and that they are still looking for seven other suspects they believe can link both shootings to the same gang. Surveillance footage released by police shows seven armed suspects getting out of the cars and spreading out across the parking lot, while two getaway drivers turned their vehicles around to make an exit. White House senior adviser Stephen Miller said the violent protests and criminal activity gripping Portland, Ore., night after night is a sign that Democrats are "returning to their roots" as the "party of secession." Miller said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" that the events in Portland city are a representation of the left-wing base there declaring that the U.S. Constitution does not apply within its borders -- comparing that to how Southern Democrats deemed federal law didn't apply to them in the mid-19th century. "The Democratic Party for a long time historically has been the party of secession," he said. "What you're seeing today is the Democratic Party returning to its roots. The federal law, the U.S. Constitution does not apply within the confines of our city and our citizens will be held at the mercy of the mob," he said.
