Twelve members of the Thin Blue Line Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club were injured - three of them fatally - in a head-on crash on a Texas highway involving a man authorities say was driving drunk when he crossed a divider. The Kerr County Sheriff's Office said the group was on a ride Saturday afternoon celebrating the club's birthday on Highway 16 just south of Kerrville when someone crossed over the center stripe and ran into them. “There were three fatalities and nine members taken to the hospital in critical condition,” sheriff’s officials said. “The person that crossed the center stripe has been arrested for several counts of intoxicated manslaughter and intoxicated assault.” The bikers killed were Joseph Paglia, of Chicago, Jerry Wayne Harbour, of Houstion, and Michael White, of Chicago. Paglia was president of the club’s Chicago chapter who was a retired Niles City police officer, Fox 29 San Antonio reported. Harbour was a retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel. White was also retired from the U.S. Army.

#WANTED! A pair of inmates who escaped from a Virginia jail nearly a week ago were spotted in recent days in southern Pennsylvania. The U.S. Marshals Service has been looking for Jabar Taylor, 20, (left) and Rashad Williams, 18, (right) since they escaped Monday from Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center in Chesterfield County. “The danger posed by these fugitives and their escape should not be taken lightly by anyone,” Nick E. Proffitt, U.S. marshal for the Eastern District of Virginia, said in a statement. “The fugitives went to great lengths to affect the escape, and they pose a significant threat to any law enforcement officer or member of the public who may encounter them. According to officials, the pair broke out of the jail outside Richmond after assaulting a correctional officer. Williams and Taylor then fled through a hole cut in a perimeter fence, with a getaway vehicle staged outside the detention center.

A Black man carrying an American flag stood outside Portland’s Federal Courthouse Saturday night, telling a crowd of protesters that “none of you guys represent Black lives” as they tore down a fence during the city’s sixth straight week of nightly unrest. The man, wearing a face mask and holding an American flag, can be heard telling protesters that he lives in Portland as they ask him to move so they can occupy the steps of the courthouse. He asks protesters “why” they are taking down the fence. “If you stand for justice come here and stand with me, stand with me because I stand for justice,” the man says in the video. “I’m not here to tear down this fucking fence, I’m not here to spray-paint. It’s going on every days. If you don’t want to get gassed, stop! It has to stop!” As members of the crowd shout obscenities, the man says: “None of you guys represent Black lives."

A pastor was stabbed during a Bible study session at a Virginia church, but was saved by quick-thinking congregation members. The horrific attack took place on Saturday around 3pm at the Grace Covenant Church in Chantilly, Virginia, located about 25 miles west of Washington DC during a Bible study class. Chance Harrison, 32, an alleged member of the church, entered the venue and stabbed the pastor 'without provocation'. Two church members – one of them Fairfax County Police Chief Ed Roessler – jumped to the pastor’s defense and subdued Harrison. In the confrontation the pastor was stabbed and a man who intervened was also stabbed. Roessler also suffered minor injuries during the confrontation. Church attendees say that the congregation was holding a special class and Bible study for members the day of the attack meant for people who wanted to become members of the church or simply wanted to strengthen their faith.

At least one man was killed, and eight others were wounded Sunday afternoon after three men opened fire on a busy street in Washington D.C. The victims -- all adults, and one female -- were taken to the hospital following the deadly shooting, which happened just before 5 p.m. at a vibrant neighborhood in the Columbia Heights area. At least one man died and two others were listed in serious condition as of Sunday evening, while the others had non-life-threatening injuries. “This type of brazen daylight activity in a very, very busy block I’m sure was scary for this community,” Police Chief Peter Newsham said during a news conference at the scene. “They are putting everyone in this community in jeopardy."

Seven people have been killed and 43 others, including seven teenage boys, have been wounded in shootings across Chicago so far this weekend, FOX 32 reported. The latest fatal shooting left a man dead early Sunday in Little Village on the Southwest Side. The 20-year-old was shot about 2:55 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Cermak Road, according to Chicago police. He was dropped off at Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to his right cheek and the right side of his abdomen and pronounced dead a short time later.
