BREAKING NEWS! Officer Devin Brosnan was released soon after surrendering at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on Thursday, after a superior court judge signed bond documents. Brosnan is the second police officer involved in Rayshard Brooks shooting.

Workers at the Denver Zoo treated a grizzly bear to one of life’s simple bare necessities: a bubble bath. The zoo shared video on Wednesday of the bear, named Tundra, as she first discovered the tub of bubbles in her enclosure. After discovering the tub, Tundra immediately investigated, spending a few moments sniffing and sticking her paws in the bubbles. She eventually jumped in and enjoyed the bath. Tundra has seen bubbles before, the zoo said, but this was the first time she’s seen them in this set-up. “This type of enrichment is particularly fun because it encourages Tundra to investigate, and to cool off on hot summer days like today,” the zoo wrote. The temperature in Denver on Wednesday was reported to be in the 90s, according to The Weather Channel.

San Joaquin County Sheriff's K-9 Kimbo was stabbed by a man with a knife during a domestic dispute Wednesday. Stockton police officers were called to the Mormon Slough area near Hazelton Avenue and California Street at about 3:50 p.m. on a report of a female screaming and a male stating he was going to stab her, according to a news release from police posted on Facebook late Wednesday. The ex-husband became aggressive towards officers and was shot with bean-bag rounds, authorities said, and sheriff's K-9s were also deployed. While taking the suspect into custody, he allegedly stabbed sheriff K-9 Kimbo twice with a knife, and officers used their Tasers to take him into custody. Kimbo was transported to a veterinary hospital for treatment and is expected to fully recover. #K9

Text messages circulating throughout the New York Police Department are calling for members to “strike” on July 4 in protest of anti-police rhetoric and budget cut proposals as tensions in the wake of recent officer-involved deaths have reverberated across the city and country. “NYPD cops will strike on July 4 th [sic],” states one of the two message being sent around the NYPD. “To let the city have their independence without cops.” The flier states that the alleged “strike” will begin at “1500 hours,” or 3 p.m. The New York Post was first to report the news. Fox News has confirmed the report and obtained images of both messages. It wasn't immediately clear who started the chain. The NYPD did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request seeking comment. PHOENIX – In May, Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County, Arizona, made waves when he said he wouldn't enforce Gov. Doug Ducey's stay-at-home order, in part, because he thought it was unconstitutional. On Wednesday afternoon, Lamb then announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Lamb posted on the Pinal County Sheriff Office's Facebook page that he had been invited on Tuesday to join President Donald Trump at the White House and was tested before the meeting as part of the protocol. Lamb said he believes he came into contact with an infected person during a campaign event he held on Saturday. Lamb didn't say if he wore a mask or practiced social distancing at the event.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Massachusetts Police Officer Approaches Man Accused of Firing Gun, But Disarms Him Without Ever Drawing a Weapon. Police Sgt. Shawn Barbale stood within feet of the man suspected of firing gunshots just minutes earlier. The 19-year veteran officer began questioning the suspect who fit the description of the person involved in the shots fired call - a Black male wearing gray sweatpants and a hooded sweatshirt. Barbale asked for the man’s identification which was hanging from his pants. As Barbale kept one eye on the suspect, he carefully placed the man’s identification on his cruiser. The sergeant explained to the man he fit the description of a man accused of firing shots in the neighborhood. The sergeant then noticed something in the front pocket of the man’s hoodie.
