A crowd of protesters smashed, cut up, doused in paint, burned and sprayed graffiti over a Confederate monument outside a courthouse in Portsmouth, Va., on Wednesday night -- and part of it tumbled down, reportedly seriously injuring one of the demonstrators. Confederate statues and other monuments linked to controversial figures have drawn the ire of demonstrators protesting the death of George Floyd, as the protesters consider them to be symbols of racism and white supremacy. โ€œItโ€™s a symbol that represents an ideology of white supremacy," Mark Whitaker, a former local lawmaker, told The Virginian-Pilot. โ€œIt really speaks to the consciousness of a city and of a people that would allow such an image of hate to continue to stand all these years.โ€ Earlier in the day, two prominent members of the local NAACP chapter were arrested for trespassing near the monument. They were issued summonses and released after about 30 minutes.

Any information call or DM @NYPDTips at 800-577-TIPS.
โš ๏ธ #WANTED! A California sheriff's deputy was shot in the head early Wednesday in what investigators described as an "ambush" attack on the police station. The shooter, who remained at large, opened fire around 3:45 a.m. on a police station in Paso Robles. The deputy was struck while responding to the shooting and his partner dragged him to safety and returned fire. The bullet remained lodged in the deputy's head and he's in serious condition. Investigators said another man was found shot to death near railroad tracks a few blocks from the police station and the homicide was related to the other shooting. An hours-long search of downtown Paso Robles ended without an arrest. The shooter, a man in his 20s or 30s, fired at the Paso Robles Police Department while officers were inside, and the gunfire occurred over a span of some minutes. The Paso Robles Police Department tweeted that the shooting stopped by 4 a.m. The department later released a photo of the shooting suspect.
Meanwhile, in Portland. Antifa rioters are grabbing whatever fencing they can find around downtown Portland to build their own autonomous zone. Rioters still erecting Fences as Portland Police Bureau warning of use of force on Rioters. Part of the fence is caved in. The fence caved in like this probably would have been enough, in previous nights, for PBB to declare unlawful assembly and use tear gas. Tonight, police are still standing out of sight, shooting pepper balls from a distance.

Earler several hundred demonstrators, led by Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant, occupied City Hall downtown Tuesday night for just over an hour, calling for the resignation of Mayor Jenny Durkan and the defunding of the Seattle Police Department after a march from the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. Raz Simone is now the gun toting, protester assaulting, self proclaimed โ€œPoliceโ€ of the so called CHAZ. This man is a menace. He now walks the streets of Capitol Hill with an assault rifle and pistol. Last night Raz Simone and his militia exiled several people from the CHAZ who he convicted of graffiti. My understanding is that Raz is governing this neighborhood now, but his troops are currently limiting their active patrolling to after dark. Some CHAZers want to challenge Raz for leadership.
New York City police are on the hunt for a suspect wanted in connection to a police-involved shootout that damaged an NYPD vehicle Wednesday evening. Two officers in a marked patrol vehicle encountered two men in Queens at the intersection of Beach Channel Drive and Dix Avenue around 5:40 p.m., an NYPD spokesman told @police_frequency. One of them was allegedly shooting at the other, who ran toward police. As police were rolling up, the suspect fired in their direction. Both officers exited their vehicle and one returned fire, the spokesman said. The suspect fled the scene and no one is believed to have been shot, he said, but the officers sustained minor injuries -- one had tinnitus and the other received a laceration to the finger. The suspect remained at large Wednesday evening.
