The New York Police Department questioned five teenage suspects and discovered a motive in the horrific mob beating of a 15-year-old girl in Brooklyn. A unidentified girl was brutally beaten and robbed by a group of almost 20 teenagers after they chased her near Utica Avenue on Thursday. Five boys accompanied by their parents turned themselves into police custody early Friday, #NYPD reported. The suspects told officers that the incident began when the victim reportedly fought another girl at school earlier that day. The group of vicious teenagers seen in the video are allegedly friends with the girl who got into a fight with the victim. The names and ages of the teenagers involved have not been released by authorities. Charges have not yet been filed.

BREAKING NEWS! The quarantine - which stops 16 million people from moving in and out of the entire Lombardy region as well as parts of Emilia Romagna, Marche, Piemonte and Veneto - was put into place by Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte last night. Anyone who flouts the quarantine rules - in which no-one can leave the 'orange zone' without a serious reason - could face three months in prison or a fine of up to $250. The killer disease has gripped Italy where the number of cases rose by 1,247 in the last 24 hours - the country's biggest daily increase in cases since the outbreak began - taking the total to 5,883. Another 36 people died as a result of the virus in Italy, bring the death toll to 233 in the largest outbreak in Europe. The restrictions will be in place until April 3. Under the quarantine, bars and restaurants will remain open but must ensure that everyone is seated at least a three feet apart.
Americans are continuing to flock to stores this weekend, standing on endless lines and loading up shopping carts with supplies, preparing for the worst as the US coronavirus infection and death toll numbers creep upwards. In the US, there have been 437 confirmed coronavirus cases reported in 26 states. Nineteen people have died so far. In Florida, where there have been seven coronavirus cases and two deaths, shoppers were seen lining up in the morning at a Costco in Miami, before the store opened, empty shopping carts ready to go. Once inside, the shoppers were quick to fill up their carts.
