Melania Trump: Wishing you all a very #Merry_Christmas! May your day be filled with peace, love and happiness!
Three adults were killed in an apparent murder-suicide on Christmas Eve while four young children were inside the Florida home. The children were safely removed from the home in Lakeland after the shooting Tuesday night, Lakeland Police Capt. Ed Cain said. The three dead adults all suffered gunshot wounds. Investigators did not immediately identify them or say whether any of them were related to the children. All four of the children are believed to be younger than 10 years old, Cain said. 'It's a very tragic situation on Christmas Eve that's going to impact a lot of families,' Cain said. The incident began unfolding at around 5.30pm when police received a 911 call and responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Atlanta Avenue in Lakeland. The responding officers entered the home and found the three adult residents dead from gunshot wounds.

Mass ongoing anti-government protests in Hong Kong showed no sign of abating on Christmas day with protesters marching through several shopping malls and chanting pro-democracy slogans. It comes a day after violent clashes with the police left a festively-decorated prime tourist district shrouded in tear gas. The protests, which escalated in June, have been largely peaceful for much of December after pro-democracy candidates overwhelmingly won district council elections the month before. But Hong Kong's pro-Beijing leaders have made no concessions to the protesters, despite acknowledging their defeat in the polls, and the rallies have turned more confrontational over the festive period. 'Confrontation is expected, it doesn't matter if it's Christmas,' said Chan, a 28-year-old restaurant worker who was part of a crowd which exchanged insults with police outside a shopping centre in the Mong Kok district. #HK

Meanwhile in LA ... Video of rapper Blueface tossing wads of cash onto skid row sparks criticism amid L.A.'s homeless crisis. A rising rapper is getting blowback after throwing wads of cash to people on skid row in downtown Los Angeles. Blueface, who is behind the top-10 Billboard hit “Thotiana,” posted a video of himself standing atop a car parked in front of a tent-lined sidewalk at Crocker and 5th streets and tossing bills into the crowd. The entertainer called it the “season of giving.” But the reactions to what may have been intended as a kind gesture have been less than generous. And as the video went viral on Christmas Eve, it became one more debate point in a year the homeless crisis emerged as Los Angeles’ most pressing issue. 😂 #facepalm
