New York Times reporters who write Mary Peltola articles are "white supremacists." That's what a white supporter at a Mary Peltola event told me last night. It seems like the extremely loaded term white supremacist is just tossed around? Has it lost its meaning? If someone doesn't like someone = white supremacist.  Btw, right is the author of the NYT piece who wrote the alleged Sullivan scandal.

Halloween Safety Message from Sheriff Robert Luna

As families across Los Angeles County prepare to celebrate Halloween, Sheriff Robert Luna reminds everyone to make safety a priority.

A few simple precautions can help ensure a safe and enjoyable Halloween for everyone.

From Sheriff Luna and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Having worked alongside Alex Villanueva and his team during the 2020 riots and other major critical incidents, I know real leadership firsthand. I have also seen the other side: working under a chief who pandered to political optics rather than prioritizing public safety. We are now watching the exact same failed policies that devastated the City of Los Angeles take root across LA County.
Alex Villanueva is a proven leader who refuses to bend to political corruption, administrative mismanagement, and the failed strategies that have allowed our communities to spiral into rising crime and unchecked homelessness.
The Sheriff is an independently elected official, accountable directly to the peopleβ€”not a political puppet for the Board of Supervisors. Restoring safe communities requires fearless, decisive leadership.
Alex Villanueva is the best choice for LA County.

More than 7.4 million  Texans have already cast their ballots, both in person and by mail, representing 38.9% of registered voters.

That’s the highest early-voting turnout ever for a non-presidential election in Texas, with Election Day still three days away.
