Officers attempted to de-escalate when several members of the group became involved in a physical altercation with officers. Several more arrests were made for battery on a police officer and interference with an investigation.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was proud to host the annual Cops for Kids Fly-In. This event was organized by the Riverside Police Department and held at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

Alongside surrounding law enforcement agencies and aviation divisions this special event brought more than just toys. It brought hope and unforgettable moments to children who are unable to leave the hospital.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and everyone who contributed to our toy drive, we were able to bring a little extra joy to children and families facing difficult times.

NEW: Manhattan Residents enraged over delivery bikes flooding their street.

East Village neighbors spoke on 1st Avenue and East 11th Street on Thursday afternoon, saying their block has been taken over by parked delivery e-bikes.

Speakers said the street holds about 40 parked cars but roughly 400 e-bikes, and one resident said rats crawl in and out of the delivery bags. "Why are 400 e-bikes on this one block?" an organizer asked the crowd. Longtime resident Michael Anton said the bikes keep multiplying every time he steps outside.

BREAKING: The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office said it has received a report that two helicopters collided in the air and crashed near the McMinnville Airport, Oregon on Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office said it did not have any immediate information on the number of people on the helicopters or their conditions.
The call to the sheriff’s office came in at about 2:15 p.m. The two helicopters crashed near Southeast Highway 154 and Stringtown Road southeast of McMinnville.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was shot near Faith Road in Liberty Township, near West Union, around 9:45 p.m.
At this time, investigators haven’t shared the condition of the deputy or said how bad his injuries are.
The deputy who was shot was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
At this time, it's not clear what led to the deputy being shot or if a suspect has been injured or identified.
