Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.

Today the House Judiciary Committee released the results of its investigation into sanctuary policies in Fairfax County, VA and cited our research into Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano.

As we told the DOJ in 2023, Descano consistently gives favorable treatment to illegal alien defendants compared to similarly situated U.S. citizens; his office refused to prosecute and/or significantly reduced charges for criminal illegal aliens to prevent deportation.

The committee found Descano allowed multiple illegal aliens charged with malicious wounding, strangulation, and assault and battery to “escape accountability and reoffend.”

The committee also found Fairfax County, VA ignored at least 1,670 ICE detainers between 2023-2025—releasing criminal illegal aliens back into the community instead.

Last night, Corporal Niomi Bruce’s patrol vehicle was struck from behind while she was assisting at a crash scene on I-75. The damage makes clear how much worse this could have been.

This afternoon, Sheriff Chad Chronister visited Corporal Bruce at Tampa General Hospital, where she was remarkably, in high spirits and is now released from the hospital. We’re thankful she’s recovering and will soon be back with her HCSO family.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Let this be a reminder: when you see flashing lights on the roadside, slow down and move over. It’s the law, and it saves lives.

Philadelphia paid its respects Tuesday to fallen officer Shane Seiber at funeral services at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Seiber and his partner, Hector Rodriguez, was shot on Oct. 10 near 52nd and Arch streets in West Philadelphia. Rodriguez, is still recovering from his injuries.

Commissioner Kevin Bethel reflected on the death of Seiber, who served two tours in Iraq before being killed in the line of duty in Philadelphia.

“They don’t serve because the work is safe," Bethel said. "They serve because they believe the work matters.”

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.🙏🏻
