"Outrageous," "unbelievable" and "downright insane."

That's how some Angelenos are describing their recent Los Angeles Department of Water bills after the long, hot summer. And now the Los Angeles mayoral candidates are weighing in on the issue.

HISTORY LESSON 📚 John G. Trump transformed medicine and helped win wars: In 1931, Trump worked at MIT building the world’s most powerful generators. His research used vacuum tubes and compressed gas to produce high-voltage for powerful X-rays that were then used for the first radiation cancer treatments.

During WWII, Trump helped found the radiation lab hosted at MIT, the center of America’s war-time radar effort; a program rivaling the Manhattan Project. John G. Trump led the lab’s British branch. On D-Day, his radars jammed German defenses, marked drop zones, and guided bombers through cloud cover.

Trump returned to MIT and founded the High Voltage Engineering corporation, which brought radiation cancer treatments to hospitals worldwide, and became the leading provider of research particle accelerators.

John G. Trump received the National Medal of Science for his lifetime work of bringing the application of ionizing radiation to medicine, industry, and atomic physics, posthumously presented by President Ronald Reagan to his son.

BREAKING: The Social Security Administration confirms to FoxNews that it has just undertaken its largest cleanup of Social Security Numbers in the agency's 91-year history, correcting nearly 15% of all U.S. citizen SSNs (roughly 50 million out of 330 million). The changes include:

- Adding 17 million dates of death to files that previously didn't have them w/ help from State Dept.
- With help from DHS, updating 25 million files that had missing citizenship information.
- Correcting an additional 8.5 million records with inaccurate citizenship data.

SSNs are referenced by agencies across the federal government and in states to validate identities and prevent improper payment of tax dollars.

EXCLUSIVE: Federal investigators questioned Rep. Ilhan Omar's older sister shortly after agents raided the congresswoman's Washington, D.C., home.

Three sources tell Fox News Digital that Sahra Noor voluntarily spoke with investigators last week as authorities examine possible immigration fraud involving Omar's citizenship paperwork. The scope of that conversation remains unclear.

The development comes as Noor canceled a scheduled Minnesota book tour appearance, with organizers citing a "family emergency."
