UPDATE: Four service members are dead and dozens more are injured after a military training exercise in Canada turns deadly when a fast-moving grass fire suddenly overtakes soldiers.

Officials say the fire had been burning for hours at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta, but commanders believed it was contained enough for training to continue.

Then the winds shifted. Within seconds, flames raced toward troops, leaving them little time to escape.

A preliminary investigation suggests a munition used during live-fire training may have sparked the blaze.

From Arizona to Louisiana and all over the country, ICE is working around the clock to deliver on President Trump’s promise to ARREST and DEPORT all illegal aliens.

Thank you for letting me be in this fight. It’s an honor to work alongside these hard-working patriots.

If you entered this country illegally, it’s time to go HOME.

It is with true, profound sadness that we find ourselves sharing the passing of recently retired Battalion Chief Paul Oltrogge with the Flagstaff Fire Department.

Paul began his career with the Flagstaff Fire Department in September 2008 and went on to lead their Wildfire Management Division beginning in July 2020. His passion for the fire service, his leadership, and his dedication to the wildland fire community left a lasting impact not only on our department, but across Arizona and the nation.

When Paul first interviewed to become a Flagstaff firefighter, he said he had wanted this job because he cared about helping people, and wanted to do that in the most sincere way possible.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of red and blood.🙏🏻
