NEW: CBS News Miami has exclusively obtained body camera video showing a Homestead police officer credited with saving a 12-year-old boy with autism from drowning in a pond behind his home.

On Aug. 2, Officer Carston Addison responded to a call regarding a juvenile in the middle of a lake. Upon arrival, Addison quickly recognized the child was in distress, removed his gear, and jumped into the water to bring the boy safely to shore.

NEW: Los Angeles ICE officers have arrested Manuel Ceja-Melchor from Mexico. Since 2012, this Sureños gang member was sentenced to 3+ years for multiple crimes including drug trafficking. He was previously removed in 2017, and he’ll remain in ICE custody until removed again.
