GUILTY: A CIA official CAUGHT with cash, gold bars, luxury watches, and more has pleaded GUILTY to wire fraud. The guilty plea comes after nearly $194 MILLION in government losses.

David J. Rush, 49, entered his plea Tuesday in Alexandria, Virginia. He faces up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for Jan. 28, 2027.

Prosecutors say Rush used his position to manufacture government activities that didn’t exist, directing roughly $145 million through a company he controlled to buy luxury properties in Florida.

When FBI agents searched his Ashburn home in May, they found hundreds of gold bars, more than $2 million in cash, and luxury watches. The scheme also involved high-end cars.

Investigators say he had lied about his qualifications, falsely claiming to have been a Navy pilot and to hold degrees from universities he never attended.

Back to square one on North Martel Ave. ♻️🏚️

A year after city leaders touted a massive 3-day cleanup at this home in LA's Fairfax District, the mountains of plastic and bags have returned. A spokesperson for the elderly owner insists he is a "recycler," not a hoarder, and the mayor's office confirms he is currently navigating mental health court.

Meanwhile, neighbors are frustrated by the constant bureaucratic ping-pong. Residents say they are continually bounced between city and county departments while waiting for permanent solutions and proper help for the owner.

A true team effort in a recent search for a missing little boy.

Prince George’s County Police Patrol officers, Missing Persons Unit detectives, and members of the Special Operations Division’s K9 Section spent hours in a desperate search for the child who wandered away from his home. Officers and K9s scoured for miles in the child’s neighborhood, behind houses and into heavily-wooded areas. Even after the sun set, these dedicated officers didn’t give up -  until they found the little boy safely – just feet from a busy roadway.

Fleeing from law enforcement puts everyone on the road at risk.
In Arkansas, officers are reminding drivers that attempting to flee can turn a traffic stop into a dangerous situation for the driver, officers, and innocent members of the public.
Stop. Pull over. Let officers do their job safely.
The goal is simple: everyone gets home safely.
