From October 1st. a humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) was found entangled in our Southern California waters, and a dedicated marine mammal disentanglement team is worked tirelessly to help free it. 🐋

These rescues are difficult, dangerous, and often require patience, precision, and multiple attempts. Every effort is a chance to give this whale the freedom to swim without the weight and danger of entangling gear.

Moments like this remind us of both the vulnerability of marine life and the incredible people who dedicate themselves to protecting it.

NEW: The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office on Tuesday announced charges in a child abuse case involving a couple who had 21 children removed from their home last year.

NEW: Hahn Nguyen, an Anaheim CA resident who was reportedly arrested days earlier in connection with an animal cruelty investigation, was seen applying dog feces to a wall in an apparent effort to discourage people from climbing over it and was being racist as seen in this video.

According to  the anonymous follower, people had been using the wall as a shortcut between a nearby parking area and the street, allowing them to reach their homes without walking around the block. The area reportedly had an opening in the past, but a wall now blocks the route.

The footage appears to show Nguyen applying the feces along the wall to make it less appealing for people attempting to climb over.

The circumstances surrounding the earlier animal-cruelty arrest and this incident are separate unless authorities establish otherwise.

BREAKING: ANOTHER ISIS-INSPIRED MASS CASUALTY PLOT STOPPED.

Today the FBI arrested an individual who allegedly obtained a weapon to carry out an attack in support of ISIS.

This FBI is finding terrorists BEFORE they can attack Americans — and we will keep using every resource we have to dismantle their networks across this country.

Thanks to the diligent work of DMNnews, FBI, DOJNatSec, and the Joint Terrorism Task Force, Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, 18, of Richfield, Minnesota, was arrested and charged for allegedly plotting to commit a mass casualty attack on behalf of ISIS at the Mall of America.

Mohamud allegedly sent messages pledging his support to ISIS and propaganda videos to a confidential source—the photo below is a screenshot from one of the videos.

These threats are taken extremely seriously and we’re grateful this attack was stopped in its tracks by federal law enforcement who work every day to keep our country safe.

On October 6, 2026, K-9 Kilo and his handler, Cpl. Thompson, were participating in a K-9 demonstration for students at Contentnea-Savannah School.

During the demonstration, Kilo suffered an unfortunate and unpreventable injury to his leg. While in a full sprint, Kilo landed wrong, causing a break.

Cpl. Thompson acted quickly and rushed Kilo to Five Oaks Animal Hospital. After being evaluated, the decision was made to transport Kilo to NC State for emergency surgery.

Please keep K-9 Kilo and Cpl. Thompson in your thoughts and prayers as Kilo begins his road to recovery. Kilo is a tough boy, and we know he has a lot of people pulling for him.

Doocy asks if “the plague in Russia is a bioweapon”, and Trump says “we don’t think so”, and that the Russians are confident the situation is under control.

There is still exactly zero evidence or confirmation of a single case of “pneumonic plague”, yet we have irresponsible reporters continuing to use the term “Russian plague”, despite there being no plague.

An institute lab worker died of pneumonia, local Russian authorities took precautions and quarantined/tested up to 200 contacts, to none of them tested positive for any dangerous pathogens, Russian officials reported that there is no epidemic risk, and they are winding down their response to the potential threat.

As of right now, there is no “plague”. There is exactly zero evidence of there ever being a single case of “plague”. Whether or not you believe what the Russians are saying is one thing, but there is still ZERO confirmation of plague, from any other nation or independent watchdog, and all official reports indicate the situation is under control and winding down.

Yet for some reason, the MSM, to include Fox News, continue to eagerly push this “plague” hysteria, and that’s the part that scares me. It’s like the MSM want this to become a thing.

There doesn’t even have to be a real threat to the public for the media to launch another fear campaign, attempt to shut down the world again, attempt to implement mass mail-in ballots again, and steal more elections. They only need the perception of one.

UPDATE: Surgery successful for Aiken Deputy shot, hit by truck in officer-involved shooting

During the press conference, Sheriff Sawyer said that that Deputy Crosby was likely still in surgery as he fielded questions from the media.

After the surgery was successfully completed Tuesday afternoon and Deputy Crosby continued his recovery, Sheriff Sawyer was scheduled to stop by the hospital Wednesday morning to check on him, according to a spokesperson for the department.

NEW: I'm told by federal sources that the parents of the 18-year-old man arrested by the FBI for allegedly plotting an ISIS inspired mass shooting at Minnesota’s Mall of America are both Somali nationals who first flew into New York in 2000 and were later naturalized into U.S. citizens. Mom in 2010, dad in 2017. It's unclear how they initially came in (visa, refugee, etc).

The suspect, Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, was born in the US in 2008 before his parents were naturalized, and he received his US citizenship as a result of birthright citizenship. 

DOJ says Mohamud's parents refused to speak with the FBI when they tried to make contact with the family last year when there were initial indications of potential radicalization.
