On December 2, 2026 SCOTUS will hear arguments regarding Connecticut's and Illinois' bans on "assault weapons"

SCOTUS has already ruled on this in District of Columbia v. Heller.

These bans are unconstitutional. Blue states, such as Washington, continue to pass unconstitutional gun laws because there are no repercussions.

Until leftist politicians are personally sued for violating the Constitution they will continue to pass these unconstitutional laws with wanton disregard. 

E2SHB 1163 (the gun permit bill) is unconstitutional. No permit is required to exercise any other Constitutional right. So, how can this even be considered as legal?

Before anyone argues this point: driving is a privilege, not a right.

NEW: On Tuesday, October 6, at 7:08 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) units were dispatched to the Texas State Fair for a reported fire. A large column of smoke could be seen upon arrival; and when firefighters arrived on location, they discovered fire coming from a gaming stand.
 
They were able to quickly extinguish the fire, declaring an “out taps” at 7:26, but the stand, which was identified as a “ring toss” game, sustained significant damage. The gaming stands were not open for business at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported. Though the fire is out, firefighters are still putting out hot spots located within several stuffed animals and other prizes.

BREAKING: Two suspects wanted for attempted murder in connection to the stabbing & robbery of an off-duty NYPD detective in NYC on Friday are both Dominican illegal aliens who were caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden administration & both have lengthy criminal histories in NYC, including an ignored ICE detainer.

Both suspects remain at large, and while NYPD hasn't officially released their names yet, FoxNews is told they've been identified as 24-year-old SNEIDER MEJIA BAUTISTA and 25-year-old DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO.

DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO, a Dominican national, was arrested by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally near San Luis, AZ on 2/2/2023, and he was released into the country with a future court date. He has five prior arrests in NYC, but no ICE detainers were filed because he was released from custody so quickly each time.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Marine Unit Intercepts Smuggling Vessel Off Southern California Coast

ICYMI: On Oct. 3, the Long Beach Marine Unit intercepted a vessel south of Newport Beach, California, carrying 14 illegal aliens.

The crew safely transported all 14 individuals to the U.S. Coast Guard dock in Newport Beach, where one individual was evaluated and cleared by EMS. U.S. Border Patrol assumed custody for processing, and the vessel was seized.

NEW: ICE San Diego arrested Pedro Amaya, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador. Amay’s convictions include possession of controlled substance, evading a peace officer, 2nd degree burglary and grand theft, he will remain in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings.

BREAKING: Federal court records reveal a Mexican national previously convicted of human smuggling was allegedly waiting near the Balboa Fun Zone on Oct. 3 to pick up migrants arriving by boat when he was arrested by Border Patrol.

Investigators say the man admitted he had already made multiple pickups tied to Newport Harbor smuggling operations, including one linked to an abandoned panga discovered near the Fun Zone in September.

According to court documents, the smuggling organization allegedly provided him a vehicle and cell phone, and he said each pickup reduced an $18,000 debt from his own illegal boat crossing by $1,000.

That same day, authorities intercepted a vessel carrying 14 Mexican nationals off Newport Beach. Federal prosecutors have charged him with attempted transportation of undocumented immigrants and illegal re-entry after deportation.

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: The cartel is threatening to kidnap federal agents and officers at the Texas southern border according to an internal alert obtained through DHS sources.

The alert says a known “alien smuggler” is planning to smuggle multiple illegal immigrants from Colombia and Venezuela into the United States— “Initial reporting indicates that the purpose of this operation may include attempts to target and kidnap CBP law enforcement personnel within the Presidio and El Paso areas of operation."

Via CBP, “CBP maintains proactive intelligence on all foreign actors that are a threat to the homeland. All relevant information is diligently vetted with appropriate partners to determine validity. NEW: A Kingston NY Police Officer was injured Monday while on duty. According to the police department, incident happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Hurley Avenue and Quarry Street.

Police said the officer was directing traffic at the intersection when he was hit by a passing car. He was subsequently treated on scene but was later transported to the HealthAlliance emergency room for further treatment.
According to detectives, the officer is listed in stable condition.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests have been made nor have charges been filed as of Tuesday morning.
