NEW: ICE Boston arrested Diony Edith Ramirez Patino, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia, following her release from Massachusetts DOC custody.

Her criminal history includes conviction for statutory aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, for which she was sentenced to 10 years’ incarceration. An Appeals Court vacated the criminal conviction and Patino was subsequently released from prison.

While Patino may be retried in Massachusetts for the offenses, she is currently in ICE custody.

Spitzer is charging these wobbler offenses as felonies instead of misdemeanors and the felony enhancement will add potential prison time.

An off-duty NYPD detective was brutally stabbed and slashed during a brazen robbery in the Bronx Friday afternoon, law enforcement sources said.

The detective was ambushed when the e-bike-riding duo approached him around 1:40 p.m. at East 206th Street and Rochambeau Avenue in Norwood, the sources and the NYPD said.

He was knifed multiple times in his neck and leg and rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition.

Two male suspects, believed to be Hispanic, quickly took off on their e-bikes, the sources said.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is investigating today's shooting in Lenoir County at the request of Lenoir County Sheriff Jackie Rogers.

This is being investigated as an officer-involved shooting because several law enforcement officers fired their weapons. Two deputies were wounded by gunfire and are being treated at a local hospital. The suspect is deceased. The suspect's name will not be released until the appropriate family notification has been made.

SBI agents and crime scene personnel are processing the scene and collecting evidence. The law enforcement officers involved have been placed on administrative duty while the investigation is ongoing.
