WATCH: TDOC officials, execution witnesses provide an update. An emergency filing from Christa Pike’s attorneys says she has not lost consciousness and still has a heartbeat after executioners injected lethal injection chemicals. Media witnesses said she…
Marsha Blackburn: "This situation is tragic. Christa Pike should have been executed long ago. Now, this botched process is extending the pain for the family of Colleen Slemmer. While there should be a thorough review of what happened and why the process failed, the answer is simple: bring back the electric chair and deliver justice for these victims swiftly. As your governor, I will do just that."
LATEST: Tennessee officials were unable to put Christa Gail Pike to death Wednesday for a 1995 murder after administering two doses of a lethal drug, prompting Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee to halt the one remaining execution for the rest of the year.

The Golden Age of America and the “Gold Standard” go hand in hand… these are VERY exciting times!
Let’s talk Judy Shelton for a second… who just Joined the U.S Treasury Department as a Counselor to Scott Bessent
She has long said “I like the idea of a Gold Standard, and It could be used in a very Cryptocurrency way.”
She also has said that this wouldn’t applied in a way that means going back to 1971… she described it as “Going BACK TO THE FUTURE”
Sound familiar?
She means using gold again as a reference for the dollar’s value—the way it once worked—but through modern tools, not a full return to the old gold standard.
What she is talking about are long-term Treasury bonds that the holder can redeem in either dollars or a fixed amount of gold, potentially paired with digital gold-linked instruments. Same principle as the past, updated mechanism.
President Trump nominated her to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in 2019; the Republican Senate never confirmed her… thanks to Susan Collins, Mitt Romney, and Lamar Alexander. Also, Both Rick Scott & Chuck Grassley missed the vote because they were “quarantining” from COVID.
She was never going to get it. This was a sign of things to come. And we are starting to see signs.
Florida and Texas both recognized certain gold and silver coins as voluntary legal tender in 2025, effective in 2026.
We are on a new trajectory now… nothing is stopping it

LAPD News: On August 17, 2026, at around 5:30 pm., Newton Patrol Division uniformed officers responded to a radio call of a man armed with a firearm walking in the area of Broadway and 54th Street. Upon arriving in the area, the officers located the suspect, later identified as Eugene Dowdell and observed him to be armed with a firearm.
The officers exited their police vehicle and ordered the suspect to stop. The suspect failed to comply with the officers’ directions and continued to walk north on Broadway. A short distance later the suspect looked in the officer’s direction and pointed the firearm at them.
Dowdell was not struck by gunfire. He dropped the firearm and was taken into custody without further incident by additional officers arriving to the scene. The firearm possessed by Dowdell was determined to be a water pistol designed to resemble a firearm which was recovered at scene and booked into evidence.
No officers or community members were injured during this incident

BREAKING: The doctor who oversaw Christa Gail Pike’s lethal injection was also involved in another botched execution earlier this year.
Pike was still alive after being administered a lethal injection, according to Luke Ihnen, an assistant federal defender on her defense team.
Mark Fowler, the doctor who oversaw Pike’s botched execution, was also involved in the attempted execution of Tony Carruthers. His execution was abandoned in May after medical staff failed to establish IV access, a process that took more than an hour.

This week, the PGPD Family is saluting a legend in our department. First Sergeant Gregory McDonald is retiring after a tremendous 36 years with the agency.
He spent 28 of those years in the Homicide Unit, most recently leading the Cold Case Squad. First Sergeant McDonald has dedicated his life to providing answers and comfort to families of murder victims. Over the decades, he made lifelong friendships with those he served alongside and was a mentor to many younger detectives. Many of those friends, colleagues and retirees packed a celebration in First Sergeant McDonald’s honor on Wednesday. We all thank him for his service and say job well done!

President Donald J. Trump "Interest rates can slow down growth. We want growth — and growth does not cause inflation."
POTUS on Iran: "They cannot have nuclear weapons — and they won't have."
"What about a base in Poland?"
POTUS: "We have great respect for the President of Poland, so we're looking at that — and it could happen."
"Are you going to endorse someone in 2028?"
POTUS: "I might. We have a great bench of people. We have tremendous people. The Democrats don't have a bench at all."
POTUS: "I will never abandon our allies."
POTUS on the release of the UK terror suspects: "I was surprised at that. We are going to speak... I have a lot of respect, however, for Scotland Yard. I think they know what they're doing, but I was a little bit surprised."
Q: Has anybody briefed you on whether the FlyDubai pilot is linked to Iran?
POTUS: "I would say the answer, based on what I'm hearing, is yes, but we're working on it right now."

Lockdowners and vaccine makers are wanted to make BILLIONS instead of actually following the science
