Praying for the US Park Police sergeant who was seriously injured in the line of duty this afternoon.🙏🏻

A US Park Police motor sergeant has been seriously injured after being struck by a driver on the Little River Turnpike at the Loudoun County Parkway this afternoon

Loundoun County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the fire department, were called out for the crash at around 1:45pm this afternoon. The officer was reportedly struck by the driver of a car, causing him to crash.

The driver remained on scene, while the officer has been taken to the hospital with serious but hopefully non life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s department.

NEW: A late-night crash in Northeast Fresno CA left one officer injured and now is in the hospital.

Fresno police spokesperson Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday near Friant Avenue and Lakeview Drive.

An officer had his vehicle’s emergency lights activated while blocking northbound traffic. While at the scene, another car traveling north on Friant did not stop and hit the patrol vehicle.

The force of the crash turned the police car onto its side, trapping the officer inside, Trueba Vega said.

The officer was freed from the vehicle and treated at a hospital for a complaint of pain. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for his recovery🙏🏻

The Cambridge Police Department announced one of their Captains, Capt. Ronald "Shane" Hinson, died today while on duty.

He was a 26 year Veteran of the Cambridge Police Department, and served in the United States Marines.  He was also a member of our Lodge for 26 years.  He was well respected within the department and the community and served with Honor during his years in Law Enforcement.  He will be missed by the Law Enforcement Officers of not only Cambridge PD but of all the departments of Dorchester County, the Eastern Shore and also those who knew him across the State of Maryland.

BREAKING VIDEO: Mary Peltola does not answer our questions about the NYT report that broke alleging she called staffers a homophobic slur, used the R word and physically pushed a former staffer.  The NYT story broke just before she took the stage tonight at a Labor event in Anchorage.  Peltola told the crowd she has a "servants heart." Randi Weingarten warmed up the crowd.  Peltola's campaign tells us on-camera its preparing a response.

NEW: One of Atlanta’s most wanted fugitives is in custody in Jacksonville.

Working with Atlanta Police and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, JSO SWAT tracked Jonathan Soto, 43, to an apartment complex on Gate Parkway North.

Soto refused to come out. SWAT used an energetic door breach to safely arrest him. No one was hurt.

Soto is wanted in connection with a Feb. 4, 2023, murder at the Republic Lounge in Atlanta.

He was booked into the Duval County Jail on a fugitive warrant.

Meet Mohammed Rahhal, a “White” man with an immigration hold booked in Grand Prairie, Texas. How the heck does this keep happening - it seems VERY intentional!

Texas authorites booked Mohammed Rahhal as “White” on an immigration hold and a $15,000 drug bond

Grand Prairie police arrested the 43-year-old on Aug. 31, 2026. The inmate file lists a felony drug count for 1 to 4 grams

Nearly a month later, no public Grand Prairie or ICE release names his country of origin or says whether he was transferred, deported, or cut loose

Federal Statistical Policy Directive 15, in the 1997 version still used by many jails, folded Middle Eastern and North African origins into the ‘White’ racial category

OMB added a separate Middle Eastern or North African category in March 2024. Agencies have until March 28, 2029, to finish the switch

The Dallas Express documented the same coding on an Afghan national booked in Tarrant County after a Fort Worth bomb-threat case. That jail search offered white, black, Asian, or Indian.
